Swami Ramananda Tirtha Institute of Science & Technology (SRTIST), situated in Nalgonda of Telangana, is an affiliated college which was founded in 1996. SRTIST has a total of five B.Tech programmes all of which are of a four year duration. Offering these programmes incorporates Civil Engineering Course, Electrical and Electronics Engineering Course, Mechanical Engineering Course, Electronics and Communication Engineering Course and Computer Science Engineering Course.The institute also maintains a concentration in engineering education to deliver diverse technical disciplines to the students. The total student intake capacity of the institute is 1224 which can be considered as having a great potential for the engineering education.
The procedure of admissions in Swami Ramananda Tirtha Institute of Science and Technology is to a large extent dependent on the results of the Telangana State Engineering Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test known as TS EAMCET. This written examination is one of the key tools of the selection of engineering students in that state.
