42 MonthsGeneral Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) is a three-year, six-month full-time diploma program offered by Tamil Nadu Dr MGR Medical University, Chennai, and approved by the Indian Nursing Council (INC).
Eligibility Criteria
- The minimum and maximum ages for admission will be 17 and 35 years, respectively
- Minimum education:
- a) 10th, +2 class passed or its equivalent, preferably with science (Physics, Chemistry & Biology) subjects with an aggregate of 40% marks.
- b) Those who have cleared the 10th, +2 Vocational Nursing course can also be admitted
- Admission of students shall be once a year.
- Students shall be medically fit.
- In addition to the above, the concerned State Nursing Council / Nursing Examination Boards can lay down the admission procedures.
