The Thakur School of Architecture and Planning (TSAP Mumbai) started in the year 2014. It's one of the best architectural institutions located in Kandivali East, Mumbai—affiiliated with the Council of Architecture and the All India Council for Technical Education. The college is spread over a 2-acre campus, and it has 394 students, with close to 47% males and 53% being females. The institute has a faculty-strength of 31 members and one specialized course in architecture. TSAP Mumbai is a reputed institute, constantly working with an aim of excellence in imparting architectural and planning education.

It offers well-equipped classrooms with modern teaching aids, including LCD projectors and internet connectivity. Bachelor of Architecture (B. Arch) is the only full-time course offered at TSAP Mumbai. The duration of the course is five years, with an intake of 120 students each year. The B.Arch course has been designed to equip students with a strong foundation in architectural principles and techniques, allied with professional skills that would be required of them in practice. Having one focused specialised program makes the backbone of the institute strong, and an opportunity for concentrated energies in delivering quality architectural education.

The intake at TSAP Mumbai happens through national-level entry examination. The institute considers the scores of the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) and the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main).
