Thandra Paparaya Institute of Science and Technology, Vizianagaram was established in the year 2001. This affiliated college has a sprawling campus of 10.99 acres at Vizianagaram, Andhra Pradesh. Since its establishment, it has grown with the noble vision to uplift the young generation in the field of Engineering and Technology. The institute offers various B. Tech programs to its 151 students who pursue their aspiring Engineering course. Having a faculty strength of 58 dedicated professionals, TPIST still assures this quality in terms of student-faculty ratio and purports personalized attention and quality education. It is an academic fraternity offering programs related to Engineering. The institute is presently offering five full-time B.Tech programs of four years duration each. Some of the courses offered by TPIST include B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Computer Science and Engineering. Candidates seeking admission to any program related to B.Tech at TPIST will be required to appear for Andhra Pradesh Engineering Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test AP EAMCET. The AP EAMCET is the first state entrance test held in Andhra Pradesh to take up engineering. It is a test that determines the basic subjects for the entry of such students to make sure that the students enrolled have a good base to start with.
