TNB College, Bhagalpur, stands out as one of the oldest and most prestigious institutions in Bihar. However, when it comes to infrastructure, there is room for improvement. The campus, while spacious and green, retains an old-world charm due to its historic buildings. However, many of the structures need significant maintenance. Some of the classrooms, though functional, lack modern amenities such as smart boards, adequate lighting, and proper ventilation. The library is extensive in terms of the collection, but its facilities, such as seating and digital access, could be enhanced for a better learning experience. The science and computer labs are equipped with basic essentials, but they lag behind contemporary standards of technology. Upgrading these facilities could boost practical learning. Sports facilities are available, but the grounds and equipment need regular upkeep to meet competitive standards. One of the highlights is the large auditorium, which hosts various cultural and academic events. However, the seating and audio-visual arrangements need modernization. Hostel facilities are available but are quite basic. Overall, TNB College has the potential for greatness, but its infrastructure needs significant upgrades to align with the needs of 21st-century education.
This college is a huge infrastructure so many buildings 1 large hall, projector classroom, a library, and a large stadium. I like the Place. I always like going to college and also sometimes bunk my class and have some fun with my friends. I like my college there are some beautiful garden.
Hi,
The College has uniform dress code, which encourages a sense of equality among students from different social and economic backgrounds. It has also adopted the 'Kulgeet' and 'Kuldhwaja' - the song and banner of the University family.
The College may try to set up a separate hostel for girls.
With about six hundred students in the hostels and one hundred quarters for teachers and staff, the College may try to set up a permanent medical facility for the benefit of both students and staff. The College Canteen needs major renovation to cater to the need of a large number of students and staff of the College. It should also have facility for hygienic preparation and storage of food.
The College may try to ensure wider participation of students in physical activities by introducing calisthenics and aerobics. Regular sessions may be held for training in yoga and all students may be encouraged to join the programme. The College is under severe funds crunch in respect of maintaining and developing its infrastructure. It may therefore, try to raise funds from all available sources, including local industries and business houses.
