Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Medical Laboratory Science is a full-time three-year undergraduate degree course offered by IK Gujral Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar.

The Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science means to give instruction and preparing the clinical researchers to support the general population and private pathology lab industry. An optional point is to give graduates that will have the option to assume a part in the biomedical field including research, specialized, warning, and business jobs. Understudies will be qualified to apply for participation to proficient associations including the Australian Institute of Medical Scientists, Australian Society for Microbiology, Australian Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, and the Australian Society for Medical Research.

Eligibility Criteria

All those candidates who have passed the 10+2 with Physics & Chemistry as compulsory subjects and either Mathematics or Biology from recognized Board / University / Council or 10+2 with vocational course in Medical Laboratory Science / Medical Laboratory Technology with atleast 50% marks (45% marks in case of candidate belonging to Reserved Category) in aggregate.

LATERAL ENTRY - Those candidates who have passed Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology or Medical Laboratory Science or Pharmacy from recognized Punjab State Board of Technical Education & Industrial Training, Chandigarh or such Examination from any other recognized State Board of Technical Education with atleast 50% marks (45% marks in case of candidate belonging to Reserved Category) in aggregate.
