UKF College of Engineering and Technology (UKFCET) was built in 2009 in Kollam, Kerala. This affiliated college, approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), provide vast option of engineering courses. Located in a 10 acres campus, UKFCET has a total student strength of 1,201 its faculty strength is equal to 118. The college offers 12 courses in three levels of degree programmes with concentrations of engineering. The policy on quality education with adequate infrastructure makes UKFCET one of the most preferred institutions for students who wants to become an engineer.
The college boasts of availing all round facilities for improving the quality of learning of the students. The B.Tech programmes include Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering and Computer Science and Engineering & Information Technology. In the postgraduate level, the college provides M.Tech in Environmental Engineering and Management, and Power Systems. Moreover, the college offers diploma programmes in Civil and Environmental Engineering, Renewable Energy and Robotics Process Automation. The overall set intake which has been approved for all courses is 648 students. This shows that the college has the potential of shaping a large number of engineering hopefuls every year.
