The UEC came into existence in the year 2011, and it is well-renowned Engineering College situated at Thrissur, Kerala. UEC with 10.14 acre campus is home to about 1,068 students where the university avails several programmes in engineering. They include the following programmes: At undergraduate level, the college offers four programmes, while at postgraduate level, the college offers four programmes. The B.Tech programmes which are the full time courses are of four year duration and concentrations offered are as follows: Computer Science and Engineering , Mechanical Engineering , Electrical and Electronics Engineering ,Civil Engineering Electronics and Communication Engineering. These include Post Graduate Degree programmes in Structural Engineering, M.Tech and a two-year, full time programme in Thermal Engineering. Originally, the total approved intake for all courses in UEC is 387 students in which the maximum number of intakes is 120 students for B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering.
