University College of Engineering, Thirukkuvalai (UCET) is a burgeoning college, which was set up in 2008 in Thirukkuvalai surrounded in Thiruvarur of Tamil Nadu, India. This constituent college, recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) New Delhi, provides number of engineering courses on its lush green campus spread over 40.21 acres. It has established itself in the area of Technical education, over all student strength is 578 and the faculties are 31 members. They include Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. Quite admirably, the college also provides Civil Engineering and Mechanical Engineering in Tamil medium, estimating the need for the educational opportunities for everyone. Every programme has the capacity of 60 students to be intaked except the programme for the Tamil medium which did not show intake capacity.
