College infrastructure was good campus was big all equipment was there but these all are meaning less because the management is very bad. No sports facilities library and hostel facility was there and hostels are quite good
I was a student of automobile engineering field there which was a unfortunate in uit teacher dont know how to teach they are just doing their government jobs curriculum is also outdated as it is affiliated with R.G.P.V.
Forgot about placements if you are in uit rgpv only a few service based companies come for placements like tcs Infosys wipro and they hire only computer science and information technology department students
Fees is around 31000 per year including the bus facilitiy because it is a government college
There are all wrost features no intraction with other colleges no clubs and societies
College infrastructure was good and it has all facilities and equipments but the college management was poor they don't carry about that because it is a government aided institution, library is there but there was no sports facilities
I was a student of automobile engineering field as i had a intrest in that quality of teaching was wrost teachers are not even qualified enough curriculum was supported by RGPV bhopal which was also in our collage
There was no placements for the branches except for the branches like computer science and information technology and they are also limited to few companies like T.C.S, wipro, Infosys sometimes capegemeni and IBM
You can say the college is cheaper than other colleges but not value for money average fees is around 31000 per year
Normal campus just Focus on attendence no society no groups nothing
Huge collage campus but in tearms of infrastructure no proper facilities was their even drinking water was not available in hot summers no proper management, library was just fine no sports facilities was there
I was a student of automobile engineering field that was my bad luck. Talking about quality of teaching it is rediculus teachers dont know how to teach. Curriculum is also outdated as it was affiliated by r.g.p.v.
If you are in U.T.T .R.G.P.V. then forgot about placements only few fortunate students get the benefits of placements and they are also from computer science and information technology branches. Package is also average around 3- 3.5lakh
Despite its fees is very low but it is also all waste Fees is around 31000 per year
My campus has all wrost features no campus life, n9 cooperative staff nothing
Building the necessary infrastructure. Facilities are not very good laboratory and library are average. No wifi. Nothing is maintained. Living spaces also okish. The College should provide more facility as the College is very far from city area
I graduated from Automobile Engineering but faculty is not that good according to college standard. No carriculum is not updated. You can't relate anything in industrial level. The College itself is not very impressive. But you can do so much other things that can support your career.
Only IT pacement. College management doesn't try to bring any other companies. for any other departments. The College management just made ties with tcs and they provide a little c&p training to the IT and CS students.
No Lab equipments. Also fans and Tubelights of most of the classroom are not in a working condition. No playground. No Auditorium. Computers aren't available in computer labs. Machines aren't available in mechanical lab. Engines not available in Automobile lab.
What we study is basics of automobile and not the advanced technology. Also the faculties aren't able to complete the syllabus most of the time. Students have to study on their own . And also they can't question teacher for anything. If they do, marks are deducted in any format.
Limited Companies come for the placement. TCS n other 2-3 which are only profitable for EC and CS students. According to some professors, some braches don't have good Students. Sessional marks are hard to get.
Fee Structure is low but also the other facilities .
Students can't explore the campus.they are not allowed to walk around.
College infrastructure was good no doubt but collage management was poor classes was good and big enough with wifi, projectors and are air conditioned but again no proper maintenance, hostels are also there and food is also good
I am a student of automobile engineering field because I am interested in this field, but the quality of teaching is very poor, teachers are not that educated and curriculum is also outdated, and there is no thing like job ready in this collage
Very poor quality of placements only few students got placements offer which is also limited to few computer science and information technology departments and they also get their placements in service based companies
College fees is quite low because it is a government aided institution fees is around 31000 per year and which also includes bus facilities
Campus life is just average
College infrastructure was good collage campus was huge with all separate buildings for all the engineering branches Classroom are well equipped with all the facilities sports club was not upto that mark
I was studying engineering in automobile engineering as far as quality of teaching is concerned it is not that good specially for core branches curriculum was not that updated as it is affiliated by R.GPV. field
Only few placements are there and they are also limited to few computer related branches, like CS and IT only service based companies come for placements like Infosys, T.C.S. and wipro average salary is around 3 lakh per annum
Fees was around 15000 per semester which i think is very reasonable comparing with all other colleges
College campus was good several clubs and societies are there for extra curricular activities
college campus was huge with all the necessary infrastructure classrooms and labs are good enough with all facilities. classrooms are air conditioned with projectors, hostels are also available with all facilities and aminities
i am studying bechlor in automobile engineering there and the quality of teaching was pathetic teachers does not know much especially automobile engineering..curriculum asper R.G.P.V. standard as it was 10 years ago
if you are in R.G.P.V. then forgot about placements if you are from C-s or it branches then there are few chances that you will get placed only in bull hiring companies as Wipro, tcs, Infosys only and highest salary is around 3-3.5k
this is the only benefit of uit rgpv that it is value for money and yearly fees is around 31000 per year including the bus service
collage campus was good but too far from the main city
Infrastructure is good. There is no wifi, smart board and projector in classroom. Food taste isn’t good enough and they don’t take care of hygiene. Not all necessary equipments are available in laboratories but all the course related books are present in library and the infrastructure of library is good.
The quality of teaching is average. The curriculum is updated and industrial trainings are also part of our curriculum so yes, this makes the students of the institute job-ready. Exam pattern is also good enough.
Only few students of the institute get placement, around 20-25% and most of them are placed in software companies. The highest package offered is 7lakh and the average package is 3-3.5 lakh. Yes, the placement process was easy and pleasant for me.
It has basic infrastructure as expected in a govt Institute with the exception of library which is very well maintained both in terms of quality of books and infrastructure. The Authorities are trying to switch to smart classes and other modern facilities for the comfort of students.
As far as mechanical engineering is concerned the quality of teaching is moderate because at the end of the day students have to learn things themselves only . You yourself have to work hard to develope skills for job and there are not even proper labs.
Very less scope for mechanical since only IT companies like TCS come for the placement drives, one can find hardly a single core company that too in years for example in 2019 caparo came after somewhat 4-5 years for mechanical. Most of the students opt for open campus drives in order to get into pvt firms
The average cost is 30-35k per year including mandatory bus fees for the first year students. Overall it's a value for money since you're getting a degree from govt Institute.
Campus life is interesting if you have a good bunch of people to hang around. There are always some or the other fest , sports events like mahasangram, apart from this there is a team for technical events like supra for mechanical. Moreover various departmens also keep conducting some or the other event for the respective fields.
Hi there,

Hi,
Congrats on getting admission in petro chemical branch in uit rgpv.
See the admission to other branches like cse or ece in your college in the second year depend on the college policy that whether it allow you to do so or not.
Generally to switch to other branches in the second year, you have to outscore the topper of that branch and then you can get admission in that branch.
Also, there are different rules for the different colleges and you must first check the official website and documents of the college to know about the college rules regarding the procedure.
You can take help from your college seniors to know about the same or can contact the professors.
Hope this resolves your query.
Hello Aspirant,
If there is a seat in CSE in UIT, RGPV. So you have chance to change your branch. If you take admission in Automobile in UIT, RGPV. There you have only one chance to change your branch but you can your branch in second year, if there is a vacant seat in CSE branch. The branch change is quite difficult. You can change branch only in one condition and the condition is Vacant seat in CSE.
I hope this will help you.
All the best !!
