The college infrastructure is good but not best they lack in cleanliness and some other stuff the classroom have air conditioner they have well built buildings and seminar halls we also have some great labs and library for students
Teachers and professors are the core strength of this college the academics are well updated with modern day syllabus the study focuses on overall development including the most importantly making job ready
The placement club in always active for bringing companies for drives with a good package we are made industry ready and our marks are being monitored by the professors which help us in placement drives
Infrastructure wise college is average. As it is one of the oldest colleges in Madhya Pradesh that is quite relevant as well. But most of the important building and infrastructure is well in place and basic amenities are available to use.
Academic wise its a good college, I would say a legacy it has which it has formed from 1952. Curriculum is good and branch wise they have good professors all well advanced in their field of study and passionate about teaching.
This college is known for its placements and the relationship it has formed with big mnc's and companies over the time, so yes the placement quality is really good but it is more inclined towards branches like CS and IT.
Yes this college is definitely value for money. Fees were very nominal when I was studying there and the placements that we get are also very good. That's we look for right the ROI we get from the college, Study wise anyways its good.
Campus life is very happening with lots of clubs and event going on around the year and many competition to take part in along with your batchmates and seniors. Its quite an amazing experience to be honest and i really enjoyed it.
Yes, the college has all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipments for sports, health and other utilities. The infrastructure is renewed at regular intervals. The classrooms are not smart, but the teaching pedagogy is! Also the campus is clean and the services provided are hygienic.
I studied Industrial and Production engineering from SGSITS and it is one of the top engineering colleges in MP. The teaching pedagogy and the faculties are so talented that its very easy to clear all concepts in one go. The curriculum is also updated and new subjects are added as per the growing needs of the world. The curriculum makes the students Industry ready which helps in the placements.
Everybody opting for the Placements usually get placed. The placements are really good. Around 90-95% of the students who opted for the placements were placed with decent roles. Average salary differs to the various branches but the Highest packages cross the mark of 35 Lpa and lowest is around 4.5 Lpa. The placement process is transparent and TPO is so supportive to all the students.
The total cost was around Rs 3 lacs which is so affordable for the students. Joinig the college is worth every penny spared.
Campus life is so good, the location of the campus is accessible to every amenities of the city, there are clubs and committees for all kind of activities that are student driven providing every possible experience of a degree school.
The college is overall good and students and opt for it.
Yes the college have all the necessary infrastructure , facilities and equipments that fulfill the needs of one student . The campus is very big and surrounded with greenery. There was also hostel facilities for students and as well for teachers too.
Right now im pursuing MBA from this college and as if i say mainly for MBA i will not Recommend because the faculties were not that good. This college is best for b.tech . This collefe is on the top for b.tech
No quality of placements were there . This college is very poor in giving placements Especially in MBA . By the time there are improving there placements but now i will not recommend this college for MBA students
No value
My Institute SGSITS college infrastructure is very good as it is a government college. It is included in the top 10 colleges of Madhya Pradesh. My college infrastructure is very beautiful and most of the environment.
The Academics Section of my college is very good, I have to pay the fee twice in a year and I do not have to pay the fee again even in the middle of the semester. Here there is no problem in registration enrollment due to scholarship.
The placement record of my college sgsits is very good. There are many packages of computer science engineering available here. From 3rd year onwords I have internship from a company and 4th after package.
The fee structure of my college is very high, here the fee is very high, if you come from SC and ST category, your entire fees is recieved in the form scholarship and for OBC and General category, you have to apply for merit scholarship.
My campus life is going very well. Because I am currently a 3rd year student and i am enjoying my college campus life. It's a lot of fun doing assignments here with friends and college lecturere very experience an joyfull.
My world best life experience our college.
Well college Infrastructure mainly consists of old building in which verious departments are there although their is new LT building in which classes are held. However classrooms of new building is worth it and their is also gym and sports complex in the campus
Currently I am pursuing Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering. Bcoz I have deep interest in electronics and the upcoming demand of semiconductor industries in india excited me for this branch . Also there are VlSI related subjects in acadmic curriculum.
Well on this issue I can't say anything because, my batch placement are not started yet. But what I know is that their is decent placements in this branch as of now but if you have patience then you may dream for semiconductor industries which gives very good packages.
The fees structure is somewhat around 1 lakh per annum. What I feel is that it worth it for the money.
This is overall good generally depends on the student.
The infrastructure is made with thoughtful mind, it's really good and amazing. The college have 5-6 big green grounds, greenery, sports grounds. Botanical garden is present. Small Temple is also there.
Well, to be honest it's a mix of good and bad. Only 5-6 teachers are there and among these only 2-3 teachers are good in teaching and rest are just for name sake and to take money. Some Teachers are not Frank.
Placements are very poor, only 2-3 companies come to campus for a strength of 52 students. For M.Pharm as well we don't have good placement opportunities. The tie up college is not upto the mark, and students are dissatisfied with this.
I can say average, as we faced many problems related to practical work because no proper equipments were available to perform the practical. Only perk for this college is that it is one of oldest college and people know it and it's government college so you get benefits in the future, nothing else.
Life is not that good, because from 9-1 in the morning you have theoretical classes then from 2-6 you have practicals to perform and after 6 in the evening you are not left with any energy.
1. Teachers should be increased 2. Teachers should be Frank that students can ask their queries 3. For practical work equipments and chemicals should be made available
college of all the necessary infrastructure facilities and the equipment being required by the student and whole campuses WiFi enabled the smartboards are also being enabled in the classroom and these all things are well maintained
As I am the alumni and I have done the B Tech from here in the information technology and the quality of teaching is really too good the curriculum is updated with all the recent development is different fields which makes us ready for the job
Quality of placement in my college is really too good as a student or get place in the good companies the highest early package is being offered of eight elephant every early package offered is 3 to 4 LPA the placement process is pleasant and easy for us I
Good Campus life for me.
Yes, My clg have all the necessary infrastructure facilities and equipment ,in my classroom smart board are available and libraries are also good ,no class are not properly clean every day, food are also good
I am studying bio medical engineering ,to help the development of the health care centre and the teaching quality are also good, yes I think my clg curriculum is updated and include all the recent developments
My clg place ment is above 15 lakhs per annum 80% of student were placed the highest salary package offers is above 15 lak the average salary offered in my college is 5 lakh my clg fouced on development of the student skill
My college course cost is 1.5 lakhs in the year
My college campus life is best and also worst because my college timing is 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. it's so worst, my college location is good it is near railway station and it is also the safe place for the student
No else
The college has good infrastructure facilities on all the fronts be it academics, sports or technical. It is equipped with the biggest manufacturing lab in the state. Has multiple halls for entertainment activities.
The college is autonomous and all the academic curriculum is updated time to time. All the exams are good to judge the quality of students ability and knowledge about the subject. Also has a good library with all the latest books
Gives best in state placements, people from IT can get any way up to 35lpa in top firms while core branch students can get into best companies like Samsung at a good double digit package as well. Almost all the students that opt for placements get placed
The college is government subsidized for all the branches except Information Technology and Biomedical Engineering which makes the cost to student half. It is usually in the range of 30-40k per semester which includes everything
The campus is amazing, lies in the center of the city. It is lush green and has all the required amenities. Almost every month there are different events that happen both in terms of sports and cultural fests
Overall the college is good place to learn and enjoy the college life. The cost of living is superb in the city. Indore being industrial hub of the state gives you good indusrty connections and good taste of food as well
With a 79.7 percentile and GEN-EWS category, you can likely gain admission to lower-demand branches at SGSITS Indore, assuming you have a Madhya Pradesh domicile. Highly sought-after branches like Computer Science and IT may be difficult to secure with this percentile. Lower-demand branches like Civil, Mechanical, or Production Engineering may be more accessible due to the home state quota and EWS reservation.
Percentile to Rank:
A 79.7 percentile in JEE Main typically translates to a Common Rank List (CRL) rank between 160,000 and 250,000.
SGSITS Indore Cutoff Trends:
Based on previous years' data, the closing ranks for EWS candidates at SGSITS Indore vary depending on the branch.
EWS and Home State Quota:
EWS and home state quotas can significantly improve your chances of securing a seat, especially in branches with lower demand.
Branch Preferences:
You should prioritize branches with potentially lower cutoffs, such as Civil, Mechanical, or Production Engineering.
Competitive Branches:
Highly competitive branches like Computer Science and IT will likely require a higher percentile and/or rank.
Counselling and Seat Allotment:
The final seat allotment will depend on your rank, category, branch preference, and available seats.
With a JEE Main rank of 5,28,143 in the ST category (home state), it is unlikely that you will be able to secure admission in popular branches such as Computer Science, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering at SGSITS Indore. You may be considered for lower-demand branches, depending on their cutoff trends. However, it is advisable to check the official counseling details for accurate and updated information.
With a JEE Main rank of 109,708 in the OBC category and Madhya Pradesh as your home state, you have a good chance of securing admission to SGSITS Indore in branches like:
- Mechanical Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Civil Engineering
- Industrial & Production Engineering
- Biomedical Engineering
These branches usually have closing ranks in the range of 85,000 to 1,00,000 for OBC candidates under the home state quota. However, branches like CSE or IT may be more competitive and challenging to get into.
