Ursuline Women's Teacher's Training College (UWTTC), Lohardaga, is the pioneer institution of women's education in Jharkhand State. The admission to UWTTC is purely merit-based as per the guidelines prescribed by the Government of the State, UT Administration, and the Affiliated University.
The admission process at UWTTC intends to select the time-deserving candidates for various courses run by the institution. Admission into existing B.Ed, M.Ed, and D.El.Ed programs of the college is solely based on the marks secured by students in the qualifying examination and/or entrance tests. Degree-wise Admission process
B.Ed: The B.Ed program here is for 100 students for 4 years of the course, fully on merit cum entrance test marks as stipulated by state govt. The B.Ed program is the flagship course of the college and prepares students for teaching careers.
M.Ed: The Master of Education (M.Ed) program consists of 50 seats, preparing practitioners for articulation in leadership in education. The selection of candidates for admission will depend on graduation marks from previous years and entrance test provisions. The merit will be chosen according to the policy framed by the state government, university, or UT administration.
D.El.Ed: The Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) has a capacity of 50 students. Admission into this program will also be merit based on the marks obtained in qualifying and/or entrance examinations. The process also conforms to the guidelines of the State Government or UT Administration.
