Vasavi College of Engineering (VCE) Placements

Vasavi College of Engineering has a training and placement cell that handles overall placement activities. VCE Hyderabad placement cell assists students with personal and career-related issues. According to the NIRF 2025 engineering report, 491 UG students and 1 PG student were placed during the VCE placement drive of 2023-24.

Apart from the training provided as part of the regular course curriculum, the institution also offers a 100-hour summer training programme following the pre-final year exams to prepare students for the recruiting process in their final year.

During the Vasavi College of Engineering placement drive 2022-2023, as per NIRF 2024, 658 UG students and 26 PG students were placed. The median salary of UG students was Rs. 6,92,000 LPA, whereas Rs. 4,50,000 LPA was the PG student's median salary. The details of the VCE Hyderabad placement process are given below.

VCE Placement Process

The training and placement cell contacts companies to visit the campus for the placements.
Interested companies confirm the date and time of their visit to the campus.
Interested students of the institute are given details about the placement date and the names of the companies/organisations.
Then pre-placement talks are conducted by the companies.
Students must submit their resumes and shortlisted students are called for interviews on the same day.
Job offers are granted to candidates who are recruited by the companies

50% (approximately) of students are placed in our college this year, the highest package received this year is around 7,00,000 PA and the average package is around 4,00,000 PA. Hardly 10-20% got internships from our college. Companies like Amazon, TCS, FMC, etc. visited our college.

Around 80% of students got placed in the previous year. It was less than the previous batch. This year, placements have not been released yet. The highest salary package offered is 52 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA. The average salary package offered is 8 LPA. Top recruiters are Google, Uber, and ServiceNow. The top recruiter for my course is Cisco.

In my CSE course, nearly 200 members have joined my batch, and our course students got an average of 10 LPA and have top companies recruitment with 30 LPA package and 3rd year, nearly 25% of the students got the internship, and at the starting of 4th-year max all were placed in an internships As a developed got more offers.

Vasavi engineering college accept jee scores. When we look into previous year pattern closing rank for cse branch was 40k. It it was 70k. Ece it was around 1L. For EEE it was around 80k. Civil closing rank was around 1L14k and mechanical 60k. For 88 percentile you will be having rank around 1,20,000.
