Vaugh Institute of Agricultural Engineering and Technology, Allahabad Admission 2025: Dates, Registration, Fees, Eligibility

Vaugh Institute of Agricultural Engineering and Technology (VIAET), Allahabad, is a well-known constituent college. ICAR-accredited institution, the college provides ample courses in agricultural engineering and related disciplines. The admission process of VIAET aims to select the most meritorious and promising candidates from all over the country for its various undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral courses.

The admission process at VIAET usually starts in May-June for the August-September starting academic year. Degree wise Admission Process

B.Tech: VIAET provides several B.Tech courses such as Agricultural Engineering, Food Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Electrical Engineering. The performance of the candidate in JEE Main is considered for the admission to these courses. The institute as a whole has 120 seats for B.Tech in Agricultural Engineering and Food Technology, and other B.Tech courses have 60 seats.

M.Tech: More than 30 M.Tech courses with different specializations are offered by the institute in fields like Computer Science and Engineering, Software Engineering, Production and Industrial Engineering, etc. GATE scores form the major part of the admission process followed by a likely written test and/or interview. Intake capacity is from 10 to 40 seats based on specialization.

MCA: VIAET's Master of Computer Applications course takes in 60 students. Admissions to MCA are probably on the basis of a relevant entrance exam score, although details are not available.

M.Sc: VIAET has M.Sc courses in Computer Science and Remote Sensing and Geographical Information System, each with a batch size of 10-20 students. Admissions are probably on the basis of a relevant entrance exam, perhaps JAM scores.
