Degree wise Admission Process
M.Sc Public Health Entomology: VCRC has an M.Sc program in Public Health Entomology with an approved intake of 12 students. It is designed to train professionals competent and equipped with the latest knowledge in vector control and public health entomology. Candidates for admission in this course, therefore, likely undergo a rigorous selection process given their background qualifications in life sciences or any of the relevant subjects.
Ph.D Microbiology: The institute offers the Doctoral programme in Microbiology that has research interest in vector-borne diseases, as well as other microbiological aspects of public health. For the course admission is made for students who possess a master's degree in Microbiology or its related field having a sound academic record along with research skills.
PhD in Zoology The PhD program at VCRC specializes in advanced research in vector biology and associated disciplines. Candidates with an MS degree in Zoology or related biological sciences are eligible to join. In appropriate cases, evaluation through entrance test and/or interview may be done to assess the research aptitude of the candidate.
Ph.D Chemistry: The Chemistry doctoral program at VCRC is associated with chemical aspects of vector control and related public health problems. Ph.D Medical Entomology: This is a research-focused advanced doctoral program specifically to address the medical entomology and vector-borne diseases.
