Vidya Jyoti College of Pharmacy, Lehragaga, began in 2012 and is a self-financed college providing education exclusively in the field of pharmacy in the Punjab state of India. This institution is situated in Kotra Lehal, Lehra, Jakhal Road, Patiala and the area of this college is only 1.5 acres in extent providing quality education and making a specific centre for Pharmacists. The college is also recognised by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) this follows the general guideline of pharmacy colleges in the country. Student intake per course is 60 whereas the faculty strength of Vidya Jyoti College of Pharmacy is up to 8 so, it is easy for college to focus more on the students and the environment is more concentrated on education.

The college has a fleet of facilities which enables Vidya Jyoti College of Pharmacy to complement learning and development of its students. At the centre of these is the library which is an open access library and with a book stock of almost 5000 books. Experienced human resource in the form of the library staff are always available to help students fully exploit this resource. At present, college has equipped modern, advanced laboratory equipments to support the fact that this college provides practical, hands on practical education in the field of pharmacy. In order to compete well in the present scenario of digital world, a computer lab is also has been provided especially for the use of the D.Pharm students for their computer aided learning. It also has an event/ seminar venue, dining area for staff and students and facilities for recreation such as a gym, playground, basketball court, and baseball diamond. Education status is also given with a health centre that offers first aid facilities to students.

Vidya Jyoti College of Pharmacy offers one primary course, the Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharma). This full time programme of study takes two years and its approved enrolment capacity is 60. The D.Pharma course is been planned in such a way that makes the students to be capable enough in handling the pharmaceutical sectors of the pharmacy. Although this diploma programme is in focus in the college, it has made a strong contribution to education in the field of pharmacy in this region with all the seats available for 60 are trained to produce good pharmacy professionals.
