Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) is a two-year full-time undergraduate course approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and offered by Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University, Chennai.

Eligibility Criteria

The candidates should have undergone a 10+2+3(12) or 11+1+3(15) pattern of study and passed the Qualifying State Board or CBSE examination and UG degree examination of UGC recognized Universities in any one of the school subjects offered by the School Education at Secondary / Higher Secondary level.

Candidates who have qualified for the PG degree in the subjects in subject codes 11 to 19 without less than 50% of marks and major subjects in UG and PG shall be one and the same.

Admission Details

Admission shall be on merit basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination and or in the entrance examination or any other selection process as per the State Government/UT administration policy and the University.
