Vimal Muni College of Education, Vijaypur was sanctioned in the year 2003 which is an affiliated college of Jammu and Kashmir, India. The co-educational institution is located at Devika Bridge, National Highway, Ramgarh, and aims at the development of future educators. The college which occupies a 1-acre campus believes in a more concentrated approach in teacher training with a total enrollment of 86 students and an overall faculty of 16. As stated the college is small in size but it is expected to offer quality education in its chosen area of specialization.

The college has a variety of facilities that are intended to support the educational process of all the learners. A well stocked in house library has more than 2600 books of different subjects out of them 71 books are reference books and it used to get six educational journals published by NCERT. The reading room has the capacity to contain 40 students at a time as well as the reading room allows students for reading and research. The college has for the female students a three storied hostel accomodating a maximum of 50 inmates including a warden’s room well equipped kitchen, dining hall etc. Technology is also a priority in the college where there is a good technological resource in a computer laboratory and internet facilities in the library, staff room, and the principal’s office.

Vimal Muni College of Education provides teacher training and education mainly, and the college offers only one full-time course in the Bachelor of Education ( B. Ed.) program. The presented curriculum is developed for two years course, which aims to give the holders fundamental knowledge and skills for the future profession of a teacher. Exact information about the total number of seats in this course is not mentioned, but the total strength of the college is 86 and it welcomes teaching aspirants to foster their personality.

University of Jammu has set the rules for the admission of the candidates at Vimal Muni College of Education where the B.Ed program is offered.
