Vins Christian College of Engineering (VCCE) was set up in 2004 as an affiliated college in Nagercoil, Tamil Nadu. Affiliated with AICTE, this institution provides numerous aspects of engineering as well as management courses. VCCE is located in a 25.12 acres of land, total intake capacity of students in VCCE is 577 and the faculty members in VCCE is 142. This college offers 12 courses spread in three degree levels of engineering and management disciplines. As for being an institution with a technical bias, VCCE’s main goal is to equip the generation for the advancement in the technological world.

The college believes in making sure that all round provision of facilities that will complement the learning of the students. VCCE has a good IT facilities consisting of internet of 100 mbps and 1407 computers having LAN facility. At present, the library has a direct subscription to various e-journals from leading publishers such as IEEE, Springer, Elsevier amongst others that make a number of learning resources available to the students. In as much as the campus concerns the health of the learners, it has sports grounds and gym. The college also provides access amenities such as ATM services within the college compound, a cafeteria and transport facilities. Besides, this school also has a health centre equipped with first aids for taking care of students and staff’s health at VCCE.

Vins Christian College of Engineering provide complete number of courses and programmes that are 12 in total in different fields. These include full time undergraduate engineering programmes BE/B.Tech programmes, post graduate engineering programmes ME and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) programme. The sanctioned intake of students for all the courses is 525 and there is much scope for students to get through the college. The employment rate of graduates for the latest year is not yet available but the total students of the college are 577 which show a considerable academic body. The courses are BE in Computer Science Engineering, Mechanical, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, and so on. 

The admission process for the Vins Christian College of Engineering is made much elaborate and also fair.
