Vins Christian College of Engineering, Nagercoil Admission 2025: Dates, Registration, Fees, Eligibility

Vins Christian College of Engineering is affiliated to the university and located in Nagercoil, Tamil Nadu. The college holds under-graduate and post graduate degree courses in the field of engineering and management. The admission process of VCCE is conducted to choose deserving candidates into various engineering courses.

Admissions to the program will be based on merit and will also involve relevant entrance examinations for the course concerned. B.S. and B.Tech. programs will probably have a state-level engineering entrance examination as the criteria for admission, while admission to postgraduate programs may involve merit lists from other such examinations as TANCET.

The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has given approval for all of the courses offered by the college for maintaining standards of technical education throughout India.

Application Process 

The application process of Vins Christian College of Engineering is program oriented, as follows:

1. The program of selection is either B.E./B. Tech, M.E., or MBA.

2. Eligibility criteria for selected program should be checked at college site/prospectus.

3. Relevant entrance examination should be registered and then appeared for: the state-level engineering exam for B.E/B. Tech; TANCET for postgraduate courses.

4. After announcement of entrance exam results, eligible candidates can apply to admission at VCCE.

5. Application forms may be downloaded from the college website or collected from the college office.

6. The application form must be submitted completed along with the following required documents:

• Entrance exam score card
• 10th and 12th standard mark sheets
• Bachelor's certificates and mark sheets (for postgraduate program applicants)
• Caste certificate (if any)
• Any other document specified by the college

7. The application fee is as prescribed by the college.

8. Attend counseling or interview round when called by the college.

9. Upon selection, pay the course fee and submit original documents to the college for verification and completion of admission.

Degree wise Admission Process 

B.E./B.Tech: Different B.E. and B.Tech streams offered by VCCE at undergraduate levels include Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Cyber Security, and Artificial Intelligence and Data Science. Admission to these programs is based on scores obtained in a state-level engineering entrance examination. Each course has an approved intake ranging from 30 to 90 seats.

M.E.: The college also offers M.E. in the following postgraduate engineering programs: M.E. in Construction Engineering and Management, Communication Systems, and Computer Science Engineering. Maximum admissions are through TANCET scores, and the approved intake for M.E. programs varies from 9 to 24, depending on the area of specialization.

MBA: The VCCE MBA program has 60 seats sanctioned. Admission for MBA is likely going to include TANCET scores as part of their selection method in addition to other different selection methods depending on procedures stipulated by the institute.
