Vishwaniketan College of Architecture, Art and Design, Raigad, was set up in year 2016 and therefore, it is an emerging college in the area of architecture. Situated in the Mumbai, Metropolitan Region of Maharashtra, this affiliated college is approved by the Council of Architecture, where focusing on the practical knowledge along with the appropriate concerns are provided to students. The college is located across a large and spacious area of 16 acre and provides a suitable learning and nurturing ambience. At present, the institute has a total of 120 students in its campus and faculty of 16 members which make student-teacher ratio ideal.

The college has made available numerous facilities in academics and in personal development to meet the needs of the students. Modern libraries also known as knowledge centres are equipped and stocked to serve its user’s information needs while laboratory and practical sessions add a hands on approach to learning. Vishwaniketan College of Architecture, Art and Design includes an auditorium for occasions and seminars so the academic atmosphere is rather active. To cater to the student’s need on their physical health, the college has provided for sports amenities and a gym. In this respect, the IT infrastructure helps students remain in touch with existing technological advancement. A cafeteria for students is provided for meeting their nutritional requirements The hostel facilities are separately available for boys and girls. It also has a health centre section which comprises of first aid necessities, being aware of students’ health. 

Vishwaniketan College of Architecture, Art and Design offers one full-time course, the 5 year Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) programme. This five-year degree programme has an approved intake of taking 40 students per year in line with the institutes policy of enlarging class sizes while offering quality education. The B.Arch programme is aimed at providing the most useful knowledge and practical experience to students as potential architects as well as combination of theoretical and practical approaches. 

Vishwaniketan College of Architecture, Art and Design offers B.Arch programme to the aspirants and majorly follows the qualifying marks in NATA exam. The 80% (32) of the seats are also admitted through centralised process conducted by the Government of Maharashtra through its State Common Entrance Cell. The rest of the seats are kept reserved depending on the scores submitted to National Aptitude Test for Architecture-NATA so that students admitted in this programme possess the required aptitude and skills to practice architecture. This elaborate admission strategy is in harmony with the college’s admission philosophy of choosing competent and committed students who will be able to positively influence the field of architecture later on.
