Vishwaniketan College of Architecture, Art and Design, Raigad. It has a full-fledged admission process for young architects. The institute teaches theoretical knowledge to the students along with practical knowledge which has been approved by the Council of Architecture.  The main admission mode to Vishwaniketan College of Architecture, Art, and Design is NATA: the National Aptitude Test in Architecture. NATA is a national level entrance exam through which the course B.Arch at the college gets admitted. A proper cycle for admissions has been set into motion at the institute mainly on dates corresponding to NATA examination as well as those corresponding to centralized admission process administered by the Government of Maharashtra.

The criteria for entry are qualifying from NATA and meeting the eligibility norms accorded by the Council of Architecture. Candidates are supposed to have passed 10+2 or an equivalent examination with physics, chemistry, and mathematics as compulsory subjects and secured a minimum aggregate percentage that has been stated by the governing bodies. The NATA exam is the entrance test for admission and tests the candidates on their drawing and aesthetic sensitivity skills, along with their knowledge of Mathematics and General Aptitude. The importance of this exam is such that proper preparation for freehand drawing, geometric reasoning, and 3D perception is advised to the students.

Admission Process 

Vishwaniketan College of Architecture, Art and Design, Raigad's application procedure includes the following steps: 

1. NATA Registration and Examination: The first step is registration and sitting for the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA). There are multiple examination times for the NATA examination. The students can choose a date and time and a particular center for appearing for this test.

2. Centralized Admission Process for 80% seats:

• Registration by online process, by filling online application form including necessary documents attached, application fees to be remitted.
• Fill-in the application and attach all important documents
• Paying the application fees
• Choosing Vishwaniketan College of Architecture, Art and Design as an option
• Report as per your time and date through Counseling Process issues by State Common Entrance Cell.

3. Counseling for direct Admission process in rest seats:

• Fill the online form for B.Arch. intake.
• Upload documents having NATA score card, mark sheets of 10+2, and some more certificates. 
• Application fee set by the college.

4. Document Verification : The short listed candidates will be called to college for document verification process. Please carry the below mentioned documents in person:

Degree wise Admission Process

B.Arch: The flagship program of the Vishwaniketan College of Architecture, Art and Design is the Bachelor of Architecture. The program is full-time, 5-year, and an approved intake of 40 students per year. Admission to B.Arch takes place through a twofold process:

1. Centralized Admission Process: 80% of the seats (32 seats) are allocated through the centralized admission process conducted by the Government of Maharashtra's State Common Entrance Cell. This process considers the candidate's performance in NATA and their academic scores.
2. NATA-based Admission: The remaining seats are filled based on the candidate's NATA scores. Candidates must qualify in the NATA exam to be eligible for admission through this route.

The eligibility criteria for B.Arch include passing 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, and also achieving the qualifying marks in NATA as prescribed by the Council of Architecture.
