VBS’s aim to offer students knowledge in cutting-edge and advanced learning skills in Business Analytics, the institute started to offer a unique two-year, full-time Post-Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM). The Diploma has been accorded the Equivalence by AIU with the MBA Degree of Indian Universities.

The course, which has Big Data and Big Data Analytics, has been designed to meet industry needs in emerging disciplines to ensure a competitive edge over competitors.

The course covers seven specializations like Business Analytics, Banking & Finance, Marketing, Operations, Human Resource Management, International Business, and Entrepreneurship Management. It will enable students to do a deep dive into their chosen field using Big Data and Big Data Analytics. It will also help sharpen their ability to make decisions on crucial management and policy issues.

VBS aims to have a Big Data/Business Analytics - Centre of Excellence where students would be trained in the latest in Data Analytics including Hadoop, R programming & Python, and generate ideas buried in the data.

Eligibility Criteria

A person who has graduated from any recognized Indian university with a minimum 50% marks.

Final year graduating students can apply, but their admission will be withheld until they clear the qualifying exam with 50% marks.

Then qualify any one or multiple management entrance exams such as CAT/MAT/XAT/CMAT/GMAT/MH-CET/ATMA.

This will be followed by Group Discussion and Personal Interview round where the candidate is selected on the basis of his Past Academic Records, Work Experience and Performance in GD/PI

VBS’s Unique Profile-based selection process assigns significant value to academic performances, work experience, Group Discussion along with Personal Interview.

Weightage given to parameters

Score in Entrance Exam - 35 to 60%
Score for academic performance in X Std., XII Std., Under Graduate Degree/ Post Graduate Degree - 5 to 25%
Group discussion/Personal Interview - 20 to 45%
Weightage for participation in Sports, Extra-Curricular activities, Academic diversity and Gender diversity – 5 to 20%

Admission Process

After the completion of Application Process, the candidate must follow the process to complete admission:

Submission of application form for admission is ONLINE through the College Website (www.vbs.ves.ac.in)
Once the GD-PI schedule is announced, student will get an alert by SMS and an e-mail on their registered Mobile Number and E-mail ID.
On the day of GD-PI, the student has to bring a hard copy of the documents (academic certificates) at the college campus.
Merit list will be prepared based on information provided by the students. The correctness of information is, therefore, the responsibility of the student.
If selected, the students will be informed through Call and e-Mail.
After the form and documents are duly verified by VES Business School, students are required to pay the college fees at the designated fee counter or through online payment and submit all their documents.
In case of any discrepancy between information filled in the application and original documents, the application will stand null & void
Only after the payment of fees, the admission is secured for the student
In case of any dispute, decision of the Assistant Director- Admissions/Director shall be final

The student will get the information about the Re-opening of the College by Course Co-ordinators.

College Infrastructure

The infrastructure at Vivekanand business school is incredible. From the modern classrooms to the well equipped laboratories and libraries, the infrastructure is top notch. The campus is beautifully designed with spacious ground.

College Infrastructure

The college provided us with a great infrastructure with a huge library, as well as lounge rooms for indoor sports. Yes, the hostel is satisfying with Wi-fi facility, good food, hygienic washrooms and living space.

College Infrastructure

Yes our college have sufficient infrastructure and facilities equipment in our college all type of equipment available and classroom are all digital with comfort setting with proper management also all the classroom have digital board .and have a special area for sports activities also have hostel.
