Hello Ayush,

The chances for getting VIPS or JIMS is a bit tough but not entirely impossible. Assuming you belong to General category, let me tell you the cut off of last year so that you can have an estimate:

1)JIMS- for BA LLB 6045, for BBA LLB 5945

2)VIPS- for BA LLB 4346, for BBA LLB- 5565

So it may look like chances are slim but all is not lost. You can apply in Chandraprabhu Jain College or Shri Krishna College of Education.

Best of luck!

Hey, I won't be giving you false hopes so the answer to your question is No. You'd definitely got the seat if you'd scored <2500 but this rank won't be able to make it to VIPS. But I will suggest you to wait till The last round of counselling i.e. Spot round. You'll not get VIPS but, you'll surely get third or fourth best college of IPU for Law. Good luck.

Hope you got the answer you are looking for thank-you.

Hello Nilesh, your rank is not good enough to get admission in vips as it's cutoff ranges from 500-600 every year.

For more information please visit this site:

Yes you're right and Vivekananda Institute of professional studies usually accepted a rank below 3000 in IPU CET but since from this year it will use CLAT scores so you can expect the college if you have a rank below 5000 in general category. But with the score you're mentioning I'm afraid you may not get it. But there are so many good private colleges out there accepting CLAT score like ICFAI, Dehradun and KIIT. You can definitely check them out also. Hope for the best since you've a decent score.

All the best

Hello candidate, you rank is very good and congratulations for your result. You can easily get vips even if you are outside Delhi general.

Best of luck!

I can provide you the past year cutt off for vips......

General - 2000

SC - 8408

ST - 9683

and all these cutt off's are for 5 years BA + LLB

now for IPU the cutt off are of track your score have to be among top 500 or even less now depends

on your course to matters here whether you want to go for 5 years or 4 years course

so your score seems to be less than required so hope you apply for vips....

Hello Ritu.

Good to hear from you. As per the previous years' cut-off, for 92 marks, your chances of getting a seat in VIPS are moderate. But whether you will be able to do it or not depends on your category and nativity. Since you belong to general category you are not more likely to get a seat. Hello Ishan.

Good to hear from you. As per the previous years' cut-off, for 55 marks, your chances of getting a seat in any NLU are too low. But whether you will be able to do it or not depends on your category and nativity. If you belong to OBC or SC or ST category then you are more likely to get a seat. And for VIPS too, you might get a seat as it's cut-off is close to 90. For more details about college check this: https://law.careers360.com/clat-college-predictor

All the best.

Hi Manav,

You have chosen a very good college. As per your rank, if you belong to the general category, you might not get a seat. But, if you belong to OBC/SC/ST, then there are chances that you can get a seat in the 2nd round or 3rd round.

All the best.
