IPU earlier used to conduct exams through IPU CET and now conducts through CLAT (common law admission test) so it is difficult to determine the rank on which a candidate gets admission in VIPS.

The factors which decide the cut off are

• number of students giving CLAT
• College choices opted by students
• reservation policy
• number of students applying for IP university

These factors vary from year to year, VIPS has a limit of 300 seats per year so, a candidate must score a rank of 1000-2000 to get into a good college.

If you leave one whole section of the paper then you wont be able to get a good rank in IPU CET. In the mathematics section they ask questions from topics studied till 10th like Data interpretations, Data Sufficiency, Profit, Loss and Discount, Percentage, Partnership, Pipes and Cisterns, Time and Work, Age, Averages, Circular Track & Upstream-downstream, Compound interest, Relative speed, Number System, Probability, LCM and HCF, Permutation and Combination, Height and Distance. These are some topics from QA section, you are advised to go through the whole syllabus.
So you will be able to answer them even if you did not have maths in class 12th. Maharaja Surajmal and Vivekananda institute of professional studies are the top colleges of IP university, to get admission in them, candidates must not take this risk. All the best for your exam.

For MBA, Jims is far better than vips. In jims Kalkaji, you will get 100% placements , also there is good scope for better industry exposure as compared to vips pitampura.

BCA in VIPS is a good option than Bsc CS.The placement in VIPS is too good for BCA and the placement rate is around 80 percentage.Placements are provided by renowned companies like Deloitte consulting, ZS Associates, Wipro, TCS, and Infosys et.Average package is around 2.5 LPA.The highest salary package is around 4.4 LPA.ccording to me BCA at VIPS is a good choice.

I hope you are doing good . As per your query , I would like to aware you that Vips is very good college of guru gobind singh indraprastha university . Its comes under top 5 colleges of GGSIPU for BBA and BCA Course. It has very good infrastructure and spreaded in 10 acres. Faculty are also very qualified and helpful in computer application department. If you want to go for bca , then vips is best option if you live nearby rohini

Jagan Institute of Management Studies (JIMS) Delhi is a business school in which comes under Guru Gobind singh indraprastha university. Established in 2008.

Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies is in New Delhi. It is a private college, affiliated with Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University established in year 2000.

As per the faculty and placements are concerned JIMS is slightly better than VIPS. So according to me you can take admission in JIMS.

* Usually the college will starts from  at 9:30 am and last till 5:30 pm. Where has for 1st shift it is from 8:30 AM - 2:20 PM where has for the second shift, the timings are from  10:20 am to 4:20 pm but the timings keep changing little according to the teacher and classes.

*Where as has we know there is  no such  pressure for  timing in the college and the only difference between first shift and second shift is that it varies from only   an hour and half so they are almost same.
