Hello applicant,

* Usually the college will starts from  at 9:30 am and last till 5:30 pm. Where has for 1st shift it is from 8:30 AM - 2:20 PM where has for the second shift, the timings are from  10:20 am to 4:20 pm but the timings keep changing little according to the teacher and classes.

*Where as has we know there is  no such  pressure for  timing in the college and the only difference between first shift and second shift is that it varies from only   an hour and half so they are almost same.

Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies is in Pitampura ,  is a private college affiliated to ggsipu .

The college admits students through CLAT ranking and also has a management quota.

BA LLB course fee is about 4.47 lakh

The College has best placement as well as internship programme.

4.5 Lacs is the highest package, 3 Lacs is the average and 2.5 Lacs is the lowest package offered.

The college has good labs, library, clean grounds and canteen also but with no hostel facilities.

Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Management Studies (MAIMS) was established in 2003  and is also a private college.

The highest salary package offered is somewhat around 5 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 2 LPA.

Top recruiters are Jaro Education, Leverage Edu, etc

The College campus is big as well as the facilities are good.

In my opinion maims is good for placement as well as internship .

But as both are affiliated to ggsipu the opportunities offered to students would be equally same.

You haven't mentioned your quota, so considering it as general category there's still some chances of getting VIPS through IPU CET rank. As previous few years cutoff was around 2000 here so there's still some possibility. You obviously need to give this Institute as choice while filling in counseling, otherwise Delhi University is also would be a good choice.

Both the colleges are very good if we compare between these two colleges than Vivekananda Institute of professional Studies is comparitively better than Maharaja surajmal college with placements and facilities the only problem in this college is there is no availability of hostels for both boys and girls in this campus.

Since you have not told your domicile. If you are from delhi domicile then you have a good chance of getting IPU CET seat for your BBA. But even if you are not from delhi domicile then also you will get the seat but you have to wait for 2nd round list. You have good chances of getting the seat.

You have allotted BBA seat in 2nd shift but you are waiting for first shift for study in BBA. Then you have taken the decision for waiting and floating for the first shift shift for study in BBA.

You have  paid for the second shift which may be adjusted for first shift BBA course with prior intimation  from your side feeling up the conditions and norms as per college rule provides.

If you freeze your seat for better college take consent of the college and feeling up the norms you can apply for refund of fees which will be not forfeited at all.

It depends on a major factor “your category”.

If you belongs to General category, your chances are quite less. But if you belong to either OBC or SC/ST then your chances are high.

If you are from Delhi general or any any other then you can get VIPS but you are  from outside delhi and general then there is slight less chance .

The VIPS second shift is good for b.com hons. The faculty is very helpful and has good experience. They makes the students industry ready. The college gives nice idea about management. The most important placements are also nice. Near about 80% students were placed. Top companies visit the campus.
