Study after study concludes that there is an explicit relationship between the physical characteristics of college buildings and educational outcomes. And while good maintenance, modern systems, and flexible designs are clearly required, VIPS fulfills them all. The institute has got an eco friendly campus, comfortable, smart and air-conditioned classrooms.
The methodology of teaching is innovative and has a child centric approach. The school has a practical and modern system of imparting education to the children. A variety of competitions and cultural events are organised which also support formal learning. The teachers are adept with the best teaching practice and trends. The well trained, qualified and highly committed teachers understand the well being of the young minds.
I do not hold any such experience as I am still in the second year of my graduation, but I've heard that there are number of opportunities for the final year students, usually from the technical and professional courses such as BJMC, LAW, BBA, BCA, etc.
It costs me ₹99800 per year, yes the money is totally worth it.
There are numerous activities we engage ourselves in, we have fests and different kinds of celebrations every now and then. The celebrations do not hinder our studies in any way, the teachers are highly qualified and encouraging.
Vips as an institution which believes in growth through socialisation and it is reflected in its infrastructure as well. The canteen is a good refreshment spot for the students, where they can enjoy meals with their friends. A number of gardens on the campus also facilitate acculturation where students can sit around and bond. Besides that, the college also boasts of strong educational facilities on its campus.
Vips has an array of well qualified teachers on their panel who capably share their knowledge and experience to the students, cultivating well serving citizens of the future. The college conducts different workshops for better understanding of concepts which are very helpful to students.
The college does everything possible to facilitate future employments for its students by bringing well reputated MNCs to its campus through its placement cells, who have always been satisfied with the talent they find here.
The fee here is 1L per annum which has, over the years, proved to be a bargain. Life at Vips is truly unlike anywhere else so there's no need for pondering over the value of money that is spent on here.
The campus life at Vips is something to be cherished. The college and its various student clubs organise a bunch of lively cultural events for students to participate and enjoy themselves. The college also celebrates various festivals like Diwali which offer further cultural exposure to the students.
Overall infrastructure is quite satisfactory, providing students with all basic facilities including smart classrooms, well maintained hygienic washrooms and spacious libraries,as well as gaming rooms accessible after classes
Department of BA English Hons. is well equiped with Professional teachers and assistant staff to help students achieve best of the results. Overall pedagogy is quite good, teachers focus on holistic development of students by providing insightful lectures and workshops
The Placements here at VIPS are pretty good, they provide us with internships timely. I myself haven't come across any such opportunity as it is only limited to final semester. But i am sure I will get placed .
Cost of course BA Eng Hons. Per year is Rs.1 lakh . Education provided to the student is best of quality which seems worth the money eventually.
It is quite a wholesome experience, college life is tiresome. The thing that adds life at college to be more interesting is the ambience of the college. Events at our college are done at a pretty large scale.
as a student, i really like what they did with infrastructure and clever usage of space. students have a well light rooms, elevators, and state of the art supplies to study and pursue their future endeavours.
curriculum of every department is throughly checked and reviewed by the officials, and the essence of learning teachers provide, is immaculate. suggested readings, extra articles and essays and personalised studies and ideas are always appreciated by teachers and students.
as far as placements are concerned, students can have official meetings and summer-internship programs that circulate through the campus. it is advised to pursue further studies as people might not like how their placement turn out.
the learning experience, college life and extracurricular activities we get to experience is fine, but it could be better. sometimes the whole schedule and routine feels exhausting, but otherwise, learning process students experience is almost worth it.
as far as campus life goes, its fun, energising and cool, but sometimes the routine and schedules we get feels forced and restricting. there’s no boundaries of what you can or cant do in the campus, as long as theyre under the eyes of law
VIPs is fully air-conditioned and the infrastructure is very good. The campus is spread over 5 acres of land and the accommodating capacity is low. It has different buildings for Arts, Commerce and Science.
It has 3 buildings - for arts, commerce and science students. It is affiliated with Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University and its academics are decent. It admits students on basis of the CET examination marks.
The placements are very disappointing. The highest salary package offered is usually around 6-8 LPA. The average salary package is around 2.5 LPA. Its placement offers are not good at all. The students should try taking off-campus placements.
The institute has everything a student might need from spacious classrooms with comfortable desks to game rooms, basket ball court, badminton court and libraries. Cleanliness and hygiene are taken utmost care of. There are three different blocks on campus and each block has it's own library which can be accessed by students anytime. The institute computers can also be used for research.
The syllabus is designed to help students compete equally with students from other colleges. The teachers take the lesson plans quiet seriously. We also have geoup presentations and discussions in class. The English department ia very hard working, we even organised our own LitFest ( literature fest) recently.
companies are invited during the sixth semester to offer placements. Our department VSES has its own placement cell. Though the campus offers a certified Summer Internship Program to the students of all the courses in the institute.
1 lakh per annum is a big amount but looking at the opportunities and facilities we are offered in comparison to other institutions, the fees is acceptable. Moreover, the teachers are very supportive and help us through every level.
At VIPS, the life on campus is the best. The central societies are very active and organise events and fests at huge scale. We even have movie screening and competitions from time to time. Face painting, hair braiding and nail art are every events highlights.
The institute is very nicely built with auditoriums, assembling halls, computer labs, game rooms and badminton court. Each building has its own library that contains a lot of informative books. The classrooms are huge and have a projector facility for better understanding. The washrooms are clean and take good care of hygiene.
I am pursuing BA English honors and the syllabus is well curated. The professors are excellent at their subject and are very supportive. The curriculum is included with presentations, assignments and tests to help us know our understanding of the topics. Teachers provide notes, study material and extra readings related to the text going on in class.
The placements take place in the 6th semester which I am yet to experience but the professors really help us get some good internships during the span of our graduation. From what I have heard, most of the students are not satisfied by campus placement and look for jobs on their own
I pay one lakh per annum for this degree. It is really worth the money with such huge libraries full of books, the faculty that helps us move forward in our career and with the exposure we get through inter-college events that are held regularly.
The ground is small but we make the most of it. Annual fests and events are quiet fun. The gardens are a nice place to spend time. The digital cafeteria has a variety of eatables and is a fun place to socialize.
All the necessary equipments and facilities provided are great. Everything is well maintained and clean. Although it would have been preferred if we had more open spaces within the campus rather than just buildings.
Teachers are amazing here, really friendly and experienced people. Although our batch spent our college life in COVID lockdown so the online experience wasn't all that good but still the teachers helped us a lot with our subjects.
Most people from our batch did not get placed and had to find good jobs on our own. The placement cell should have worked on bringing better career opportunities. It was truly a disappointment. Hope they get better in the future.
The infrastructure is very nice and the classrooms are comfortable. The library is full of all the needed books and the campus is well maintained. The areas are very clean and the college canteen provides very hygienic food.
I'm studying eco hons and the quality of teaching is great as the faculty is very knowledgeable. Yes, the curriculum is updated and has all the necessary aspects one requires to complete the degree. The course is very practical so it makes us job ready.
The quality is good as I've heard by the seniors. 90% students are placed. Highest package was 12lpa and it was offered to a student of BCA. The placement procedure is relatively easy and the college is very supportive.
It costs a lakh per year and yes I'm getting my money's worth since the faculty is very knowledgeable and the infrastructure is nice.
The best feature is the classrooms and the worst is the small ground. There are a lot of societies students can take part in and they are very active. The staff is very supportive and the location is convenient since the campus is on main road and near the metro station. The campus is safe.
It has good infrastructure and all the necessary thing a student need, campus is quit small though. All classrooms have ACs and are maintained. Living spaces are clean and hygienic. Food is descent there.
I am perusing my BCA degree from VIPS because it is one of the best colleges for it(atleast Internet says that). Teachers talk very nicely and treats every student equally. Teachers teach traditional & updated stuff both. Focusing only on what teachers teach will not make you jib ready but you'll get good knowledge but doing some internships and external courses from udemy is what I recommended.
In terms of placements, I can say it isn't THAT great, one should apply for out campus placements. Almost 80% students get placements. Do not expect 15-20 lacs package from VIPS, at most you are gonna get 6-8 Lacs. Average salary of a BCA graduate is ~3 - 3.5 lacs. Placements process is never easy but teachers are very supportive.
BCA cost 108000 in 1st year and 85k per year afer that. It doesn't cost too much as compared to other institutions and gives great experience, So yes, BCA from VIPS is worth the money and you surely can go for it.
As I am studying in a pandemic so can't say much but still i can say how they're doing all the things online and managing stuff is pretty good. We have daily classes plus 2-4 assignments AND tests every week. Even though online class are a headache, understanding the situation, it's fine. I think we are goona graduate on a random Tuesday and think what flying heck just happen?
With an IPU CET rank of 1994 for B.Com (Hons.) under the General category from Delhi, your chances of securing admission to VIPS in the third round are moderate. In recent years, VIPS has had a competitive cutoff, often closing around similar ranks for popular programs like B.Com (Hons.). However, your chances improve in sliding and spot rounds, depending on seat availability and demand. It's recommended to monitor the counseling updates and consider backup options.

With an IPU CET rank of 1994 for B.Com (Hons.), your chances of getting into VIPS (Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies) are moderate but depend on seat availability in the third round. VIPS is highly sought after, so competition is intense. Keep an eye on sliding and spot rounds, as they can improve your chances. Make sure to prioritize VIPS in your preferences during counseling. Prepare for backup options just in case.
