48 MonthsBachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Mechanical Engineering is a four-year full-time undergraduate program approved by the offered by the Rajasthan Technical University, Kota.
Eligibility Criteria
All candidates must have at least 45% marks in the subject’s combination of Maths and Physics as compulsory subjects along with any one of the following subjects: Chemistry/ Biology/ Biotechnology/ Computer Science in the final exam of 10+2 of Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan or other equivalent board. In the case of SC/ST/OBC/SBC, the required percentage is 40%.
For Lateral Entry Admission -
All candidates must have at least 45% marks in Diploma. In the case of SC/ST/OBC/SBC, this percentage is 40%.
The preference order for candidates is:
They must have passed the Diploma from the Board of Technical Education, Rajasthan, Jodhpur/ Universities in Rajasthan.
They must be bonafide residents of Rajasthan with a diploma from the Board of Technical Education Rajasthan, Jodhpur or from the Board of Technical Education in other States.
They must have Diplomas from other State Boards of Technical Education and are not covered in the previous point.
Admission Details
Admissions to the B.Tech. courses are done through counseling on the basis of rank scored in the Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process (REAP) and JEE Main.
