Diploma in Food Processing and Preservation is a three-year full-time course offered by the Directorate of Technical Education, Chennai, and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
Eligibility Criteria
A pass with 50% Marks in SSLC with eligibility for admission to First Year of higher secondary school in Tamilnadu HSC Board Schools.
OR
Any other qualification recognized as equivalent to a pass in SSLC or X Std. of Tamilnadu High Schools by the Director of School Education / Secondary Education Board, Tamilnadu.
Second year(Lateral year)
A pass in +2 HSC (Academic & Vocational) students are eligible for admission to Direct Second Year (III Semester).
