CIT Chennai Admission Process
Chennai Institute of Technology (CIT), Chennai offers admission to undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes. Chennai Institute of Technology UG admissions are offered to BE/BTech courses in multiple disciplines. Chennai Institute of Technology BTech admission is done on the basis of candidates’ performance in the higher secondary examinations. Candidates who meet the cutoff must then participate in TNEA counselling.
CIT Chennai ME admission is based on the marks obtained in TANCET conducted by Anna University, Chennai. Next, the shortlisted candidates need to appear for the TANCA counselling which also includes getting documents verified and paying Chennai Institute of Technology fees. Final admission is confirmed only after verification of documents and CIT Chennai admission fee payment. CIT Chennai BE Admissions 2024
Chennai Institute of Technology offers admission to UG courses in full-time mode. Chennai Institute of Technology UG admissions are offered to BE/BTech courses in different specialisations. CIT Chennai UG course duration is four years. CIT Chennai UG eligibility criteria is that candidates should have passed 10+2 with at least 45% marks from a recognised board.

CIT Chennai BE Admission Process 2024
- First, candidates are required to fulfil the CIT Chennai BE/BTech eligibility criteria.
- Eligible candidates must submit the TNEA application first, which is administered by the Department of Technical Education, Tamil Nadu.
- Further, the Directorate of Technical Education, Tamil Nadu releases the TNEA cutoff.
- The cutoff is determined by the marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in class 12 and a rank list is prepared as a result.
- Candidates meeting the TNEA cutoff can participate in the TNEA counselling procedure.
- Later, candidates must get their documents verified and pay the course fees to complete the CIT Chennai admission procedure once the seat has been assigned.
CIT Chennai ME Admissions 2024
Chennai Institute of Technology offers admission to postgraduate courses in full-time mode. The PG courses offered by CIT Chennai are MTech in multiple disciplines. The course duration of the CIT Chennai PG course is two years.

CIT Chennai ME Admission Process 2024
- Candidates must meet the CIT Chennai ME eligibility criteria.
- Eligible candidates must take the TANCET, administered by Anna University.
- Students must go to Anna University's official website to register for TANCET.
- It must be noted that candidates having a valid GATE score need not appear for TANCET.
- Next, a merit list is prepared and candidates are shortlisted.
- Shortlisted candidates must attend TANCA counselling.
- Candidates must choose CIT Chennai as their preferred college when filling out the TANCA counselling form.
- To complete the Chennai Institute of Technology admission process, candidates must submit all required documents and pay the course fees.

Academics
All the teachers have through and depth knowledge of the subjects they are handling. Curriculum is keeps on changing according to the industry need. Difficult level will be high since autonomous institute. Pass % will be around 75. Questions are designed to test the student knowledge far beyond the needs.

- INDIAN INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY, DELHI - for general category, closing rank was 3712.

Hello,
Ratio for CSE is most likely boys: girls= 1/3 : 2/3. Girls mostly attempt for technical branch or core branch so it have comparatively more girls strength to non-technical branch like chemical engineering, civil, ME, food technology.
it may vary by some factor every year. Girls ratio will increase in coming days
