Vyas College of Nursing, Jodhpur Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The college provides practical training to its students in the best possible way, each Nursing College is equipped with state-of-the-art infrastructure/equipment including mannequins, simulators, models, specimens, AV aids, and necessary articles for procedure demonstration. The following labs have been established: Fundamental/Medical-Surgical Nursing Laboratory. OBG and Child Health Laboratory Nutrition Laboratory Community Health Laboratory Anatomy & Physiology Laboratory Microbiology & Biochemistry Labs.

The college has a well-stocked library equipped with all important books and journals available to serve the needs of the staff and the students of the Nursing college. It has multiple copies of important texts and general books/journals so that the maximum number of readers can use them.

The college has a fully residential campus. All the students are required to be residents of the Institute hostels. The hostel environment along with available amenities plays a very important role in students' overall development during/her stay at the campus. A team of two wardens in each hostel, one Warden-in-charge, and the other mess-in-charge take care of hostel-related matters. Hostels are thoughtfully designed within the campus. Separate Hostel Blocks are available for boys with adequate open space and a garden around them both the blocks have reading rooms with T.V. and mess facilities. Management keeps strict control over hygiene and the quality of food served. Adequate security arrangements have been made to ensure the student’s safety. Hostels are closely monitored by the residential warden. Each room accommodates three students. Furniture, Mattresses, and curtains are provided. There are fully equipped common rooms in each hostel for the leisure time of students. A mess facility, laundry service, a cafeteria, an std booth, and a general store are there to meet the various needs of the students. The students are required to maintain discipline and are supported to follow the rules and regulations. There are green gardens to play, sit, and take in the garden for students. VIET has kept in mind the lodging of outsiders who become part of the family. In these hostels, management is keen to provide a facilitated atmosphere where students are provided beds, fans, electricity as well as water facilities. In the winter season, students are provided heaters and hot water for bathing purposes and coolers in summer. They are provided with their separate cupboards.

The college has its mini theatre, where students groom their interpersonal skills through seminar, conferences, workshops & cultural activities. Hoteliers can watch movies every weekend.

The college provides a transport facility to its students through a fleet of buses, covering almost all major landmarks in Jodhpur and Pali. The College runs 52 buses for this purpose. This Facility is available for all students. However, students are required to apply for the same at least 15 days before the start of the session. Students can board a bus after showing the bus pass to the bus in charge, which will be issued to him/her in advance after the deposition of the transportation fee.

 The college has Students who are trained in various sports and games by well-experienced and qualified Instructors. The college playground is always bubbling with outdoor activities like Cricket, Football, Tug of War, etc. There are courts for volleyball and basketball too. Besides the indoor game facilities available in the student hostels, there stands a beautiful architectural Centre, an Indoor gymnasium, with the latest equipment, etc. The indoor ground provides table tennis and badminton facilities. Every year, inter-college cricket and football tournaments are conducted in the college. The students of the college also participate in various sports and games competitions elsewhere to represent the college. They encourage the students to participate in sports. Some playgrounds and courts are available for regular practice. Expert coaching is provided for promising athletes/sportspersons. But even as a sport is encouraged, it is ensured that academic excellence is not compromised in any way. The College also offers facilities for cricket. A Cricket Academy was founded for aspiring cricketers. It was inaugurated by an international cricketer, Munaf Patel. Boys and girls also participate in almost all sports enthusiastically.

The college have cafeteria is one of the favorite hangouts of students on campus. It serves a variety of sweets, snacks, beverages, cool drinks, soups, and so on. It is a place where one gets refreshed as well as gets refreshments! Students and staff can get healthy and nutritious food in the college canteen. High levels of hygienic nutrition food are made possible through facilities like steam cooking, cold storage, etc, in the kitchen.

Campus Hospital was commissioned in 2009 to provide much-needed specialty health Care for residents of Jodhpur and nearby towns. The hospital has state-of-the-art technology, with round-the-clock patient care in 100 beds spread over a dozen branches of health care. following Specialty Departments: General Medicine, General Surgery, Dental Surgery. The health care center facilities for the students are provided by Vyas Institutes of Higher Education, a multi-facility 24/7 hospital inside the (Educational Institution) campus, which provides treatment free of cost.
