Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Mechanical Engineering is a four-year full-time undergraduate program recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and offered by the Andhra University, Visakhapatnam.

Eligibility Criteria

Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subjects/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. OR Passed Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.

Admission Details

The EAMCET – Engineering and Medical Common Entrance Test convener fills up 70% (Category – A) of the seats in the Institute by allotting the candidates to this institute on the basis of their choice, their EAMCET ranks, and the reservation policy of the Govt. of Andhra Pradesh.
The remaining 30% (Category – B)of the seats are filled up by the Institute under the Management /NRI quota as per the guidelines given by the APSCHE and the Govt. of Andhra Pradesh for this purpose.
The convener of ECET admits the sanctioned intake for each program for admission directly into the II year of the 4-year B.E/B. Tech program from among the Diploma holders, based on their rank in ECET, their choice of the institute, and the reservation policy of the Govt. of Andhra Pradesh, under the lateral entry scheme.

College Infrastructure

The college provides best infrastructure in our college which is limited for the college use so that no one misuse the infrastructure of the college and also provide wifi facility. The labs are huge and spacious which helps students to concentrate on work. The campus has pure air and ventilation with good atmosphere. For mechanical students they are providing better labs for practice.

All necessary are available in this college everything is excellent labs, classrooms, labs, sports activities and college events all conducted on regular basis the management is very super in conducting such events
