Library available, lots of books are there! Students' room where one can gossip or study. Laboratory rooms are adequate. Class rooms are spacious, faculties are top notch of English literature department.

They have both science and Arts department but Arts department is more developed. If one wants to pursue English honours, she can definitely take the guidance of this college cause faculties are experienced and cooperative.

No few chances are there to get a placement. Absolutely not recommended. But you will acquire skills and experience which will guide you in your future endeavours. Faculties will play a greater role to decide your career also they may help students out in case of placement.

As CBCS system has been introduced, there's a semester wise fee structure. No difficulties are there!

No WiFi system. Campus life is boring as there are no such fun activities to keep the students engaged.

although many equipments are old in the back building, the new building and the fifth floor has proper air conditioning, good ventilation, audio-visual aid and accoustics. There are vending machines for feminine hygine and the toilets are cleaned daily.

Women's college has a component which many ladies colleges lack in Kolkata: warm and inclusive atmosphere. The professors are not only competent in their field but warm and helpful too. They often guide the students as mentors and sit for one-on-one sessions quite often.

There were small placement starters for academic degrees which is a first in Kolkata. A few from the english dept were scouted as reviewers for top online merchant companies like Amazon, Myntra around 2019. However to expect an academic college to provide placements like a technical one is unrealistic

Women's is value for money on the BA level, charging only 5000 a year. However, their master's degree may charge 30000 per year, which is on a bit expensive side. However, the courses provided are top-notch and can go head-to-head with any Calcutta University affiliate college

There is a very limited campus life since the campus consists of two giant buildings rammed side by side. However, the overall environment is peaceful and harmonious. Girls who are strangers to each other are willing to help one another and are quite well-behaved as well.

For a person who got enrolled in English hons after studying in Bengali medium for their whole life, the experience of this college was educational indeed. I was provided with cordial assistance at each step which helped me build my English fluency, communication skills, presentation skills, and confidence.

In infrastructure wise college facilities were average...there was no hostel so it was difficult to maintain the regulatory in the college. Library was good but every time was not accessible. Classroom was good. There was no sports centre available, laboratories facilities were not so good and all the practical equipments were also not present. College canteen was average from all the sides like hygeine, food quality etc. In general I will review the college infrastructure is average.

As academic purposes the college is very good. All the teachers in my department was very encouraging and helpful. Their behaviour was very good for students. There was lots of curriculum activities like Nutrition week, different types of seminar etc. knowledge about education was very good. From this side my experience was really amazing.

Unfortunately it is very sad that there was no placement from my department. If there was placement facility then it was very helpful for the students for secured future. Hopefully in future the college authority will look into the matter.

Yes it is absolutely value for money . Medium amount is required for Bsc. and also scholarship available. So it is not so hard for students to study in this college for heavy amount of addmission.

My campus life experience was good. From all the sides I experienced lots of things from teachers, classmates, friends and from other puplis.

The infrastructure is very good with good library support, with fully wifi campus, classes equipped with air conditioners, the Chemistry , food & nutrition, Geography, psychology labs are very good, Sports like Badminton, Carrom & table tennis, Also Gym is there inside the campus. The in-campus canteen is very good & hygienic.

I was Studying food & nutrition hons, the quality of teaching is outstanding, teachers are very friendly & supportive. The curriculum is very good & updates time to time according to the Calcutta University, It is the second campus of Calcutta University where we can study M.Sc in food & nutrition.

There is no placement drive in the campus but few companies visit sometimes for campus placement. They are trying to reach out to the Alumni of the college & trying to build placement cell for the upcoming students

The college is value for money.

The best things is everyone was so good in the campus whether teachers or classmates, location of the college is safe & there's a hospital nearby for emergencies.

Overall my experience is very good with the college, the Alumni meet is often & is very good.

The faculty is really good. Other infrastructure like library, classrooms, extra curricular space is also there. And gym has been also made inside the college campus. Cleanliness and hygeine is also maintained properly

I have always loved the way of teaching that the professors follow. We always have our doubts cleared from them. We have class interactions also so we get many ideas on a single topic. And definitely the study makes me job ready

Regarding placement I would say it's a bit disappointing. Because we were not offered placement from college itself. We were just guided in which fields we can apply. I think it will be better of college sponsor placements

I felt the cost was reasonable than other colleges. Definitely I got my money's worth. Because I got all the amenities that I expect to get from a college and it's faculty. The education and lessons are worth it.

Campus life is always upbeat and full of life. It's not monotonous. We keep having extra curricular activities, sports, functions also academic competitions. We can always hangout in the canteen Or in common room.
