(Industrial Design) at MIT-WPU is a forward-thinking programme that melds the essence of design with cutting-edge technology, tailored to meet the dynamic needs of the rapidly evolving design industry. Our programme covers comprehensive studies in human factors, material sciences, manufacturing processes, and aesthetic development, providing a holistic view of industrial design from ideation to execution. A key focus is on user-centric design, where students engage in extensive projects, workshops, and user studies. This approach ensures they are adept at crafting products that are visually appealing and resonate with diverse user needs.
In response to the evolving complexity of industrial products, the programme integrates contemporary advancements like Artificial Intelligence, digital fabrication, and sustainable practices. This prepares students to effectively address modern design challenges and sustainability concerns. The practical, collaborative nature of the curriculum is highlighted through design projects often conducted in partnership with external entities. These projects challenge students to devise innovative solutions for real-world problems in technology, consumer needs, and professional tools across various industries. Graduates of the Master's programme emerge as versatile product designers, equipped to create innovative, sustainable, and ethically responsible solutions. They are poised for diverse career paths, from traditional industrial design roles to cutting-edge positions in design technology.

Minimum 60% aggregate score in any 4-year Science / Architecture / Engineering / Design graduation from UGC approved Institution or equivalent (at least 55% marks, in case of Reserved Class category candidate belonging to Maharashtra State only)
Admissions will be provided purely based on merit of CEED 2025 / MIT-WPU CET 2025 score, Personal Interaction (PI) and Portfolio Review.
