Yadgiri Institute of Medical Science (YIMS), which is an emerging medical college in the country started in 2022. This affiliated college is situated in states of Karnataka; specifically in Yadgiri is serving the society immensely to build a better tomorrow of the healthcare sector. Recognised by the National Medical Commission (NMC), YIMS is a co-educational institution for young doctors. At present, YIMS offers one primary course: ,the MBBS program or the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery program. This full-time course takes six years to complete and prepares students in all the required medical sciences. Till date, the institute had been able to secure an intake of 150 MBBS seats which points towards its capability to train numerous young doctors of the future.
