As the name suggests, water management is the process of planning, allocating, organizing and distributing water resources, for effective utilization. Water regulations and policies are taken into account throughout this process. Courses in this field are taught under Civil Engineering. They are taught as courses at undergraduate levels and postgraduate levels as specializations.

For Undergraduate Water Management Courses:
The aspirant must have completed 10+2 years of education from a recognized board.

Entrance Exams for Water Management
Entrances at each level differ, but the major entrances given for most water management courses in India are:
Karnataka Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (Karnataka PGCET): This test is conducted by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA), and it makes students eligible for Post Graduate courses in that state..
Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE): This test is taken for those who wish to opt for engineering and related courses. It tests their knowledge on the various subjects involved in this field.
Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT CET)
IIT-JEE- Joint Entrance Exam (JEE Main and JEE Advanced): JEE Main is administered by the National Testing Agency (NTA) in online mode. The entrance exam is conducted twice a year- January and April. Candidates who will qualify JEE Main will be eligible to appear for JEE Advanced, an entrance test for admissions to the 23 Indian Institutes of Technology.

see the college you have mentioned istop ranked colleges in terms of quality education, however if fees is your main concern then you should go for ashutosh college, it has really good location and fees are comparatively less than other colleges, however ranchi university is good if you want to do job after completing studies, through there is no 100% placement but students get to work in internships which is provided by the university.
