Hello,
I hope you are doing good,
If you look at the scope of Pharmacy in the healthcare industry, a research report called 'Pharmacy in 2015 by the International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP), the public pharmacy is the largest provider of registered pharmacists followed by a hospital pharmacy of 13.2 percent. . Services provided by pharmacists include:
Improving drug use: Drug reviews, anti-hypertension medications, targeted treatment, short-course medications, drug interactions and the development of new drugs.
Product-focused services: This includes the integration of medicines (according to medical terms) and the integration of obsolete medicines into the market.
Public health services: This includes promoting health programs, immunizations, health camps and other health-related awareness.
What is some brief information about campus placement? What questions are asked in HR round? Which books should I refer to in preparation for campus placement( I am an information science student)? can anyone explain your campus selection process?
Hi, so i'm assuming you're placements have been started and you wanted to know about the process.
Okay so basically you don't need a specific book for HR round. You just have to work on your communication skills.
Usually a campus placement have a screening round and HR + Technical Round. Not every company has the same but HR round is the round that you are going to face anyway.
And you just need to work on your English, confidence to clear an HR round.
The HR would ask you about yourself, your interests, your future plans etc.
I would suggest you to be a little calm while talking to a HR. My pro tip would be to make your interview more of a good conversation than an interview (figuratively speaking). What i mean is the confidence and calmness is going to help you in clearing the HR round.
And one book i think is the best for any aptitude exam and that is R.S. Aggarwal's Quantitative Aptitude. This book is the Bible for any aptitude test.
Hope this is helpful
which is the best engeneering course for money
Dear,
The most successful Engineers draw a huge salary, regardless of the branch they are in. Some branches like Computer Science might start you off with a higher average salary than the other branches. But the ones that excel in their field, draw a larger salary over time, depending on their hard work and experience.
To answer in a different way, if you select a branch of your choice and work creatively within that, you’ll be financially rewarded in the long term.
- Big Data Engineer.
- Petroleum Engineer.
- Computer Hardware Engineer.
- Aerospace Engineer.
- Nuclear Engineer.
Hope this helps!
Tell me a brief information about campus placement, and what questions are asked in HR round?and which books I refer to preparation for campus placement?
Hey Varun!
Campus Placement or Recruitment occurs when firms visit your college campus, interview students and employ applicants to work for them. These campus placements are coordinated by your college, which invites the firms to get the students recruited from their college. Campus Placements are held prior to the final test.
First, the companies provide presentations about their organisations. Students learn everything there is to know about the organisations, their hiring process, and the pay you can anticipate. Afterwards, the students would get to know about the credentials and other essential factors that organisations have set to hire students. Companies typically interview just those candidates who belong to a specific educational stream and then select from that stream. You are required to give an aptitude test for the company you have applied in. If you qualify in the exam, an interview round is conducted through which students are finalised. You will receive an offer letter, if you pass the official interview. You will be provided instructions and you will be informed about the joining process. You will also be informed of any other pertinent information.
Since you haven't mentioned the course which you are enrolled in, I would just state that you will get questions from your field and the job title for which you are applying. The questions varies according to the different fields. You should just keep in mind that you will be asked for your introduction and whatever you speak you should be aware about the topics that you introduce in your introduction. Be prepared to get questions on whatever you have said in your introduction whether it is your interest or qualifications. Speak confidently and appear confident. Practice your communication skills. If you're receiving education in a technical field, make sure you brush up on your technical abilities and knowledge. Continue to read and update your technical expertise. Present yourself in a way which will make you stand out from the rest. Tell some qualities you possess which are not so common among your peers. Also, in whatever field you are studying make sure to read current affairs pertaining to that field.
You may be asked questions like why do you want to apply in this company or what do you know about the company or why you should be hired or your expectations from the company if you get selected and also whatever you may have said in the interview may be questioned and asked upon. You should also be prepared to answer on your strengths and weaknesses. Although you shouldn't add any negative quality. You may also be asked that where do you see yourself in four/ five years and so on. There is just one most important tip which is to be confident.
All the best!
What is pooled campus placement.?
Pooled Campus Placement, is like a Generic Job Fair for a Particular Company, and students from Colleges across the State or that Particular City apply for the Placement. Like for Example, Cognizant starts a Pooled Placement Drive in the City of Ranchi for Students of Jharkhand, and Students across NIT Jamshedpur, NIFFT, BIT Mesra, IIT ISM, BIT Sindri and many other Engineering Colleges apply for the Placement Process. From HR Perspective, Pooled Campus Drive is beneficial as it helps to segregate and sort best talent in a shorter time, instead of hopping across Campuses.
sir I am studying computer science and engineering in mvj college of engineering Bangalore . Can I expect to get a campus placement offer of above 20 Lpa ??
Hi.
If you are a first year or a second year student it is too early to anticipate this, however, as you enter third year you will be aware of placement drives and opportunities in your college. Getting a placement depends on the type of college, its reputation, alumni network, hard work of students and their potential for current industry.
That said, according to official website of MJV College of engineering (
https://www.mvjce.edu.in/web/placements/placements.htm
) the site was updated for placement of 2016 Batch and has not been updated yet. This does not inspire confidence and indicates the lazyness of the placement cell. It has packages like Eurofins
-
INR 6 lacs p.a
Nokia Solutions and Networks - INR 5 lacs p.a
TESCO - INR 4.86 lacs p.a
Therefore, hoping for a 20 LPA package might not be feasible but do not be discouraged, work hard and engage with alumnis and placement cell to get better opportunities.
Good Luck
Im getting CSE in PEC Chandigarh and Biotechnology in NIT Allahabad. What should i take? Im looking for a good campus placement. Should i prefer branch over college or College over branch?
Hello
You should opt for CSE in PEC Chandigarh without giving any second thought until you are interested in Biotech.
CSE placements in PEC is very good and at par with any good college in India.
The CSE department at PEC Chandigarh has a great faculty, well-established infrastructure, and excellent placements. Many of my friends have left NSIT for PEC. The environment is cordial and accepting in PEC.
CSE like ECE and Electrical, attract software companies that provide students with immense options to choose from. Core companies also take part in PEC Chandigarh’s placement program.
Companies like Arcesium, Amazon, GS, SanDisk, etc. offered students a salary package of upto 34 LPA.
Hope it helps
