i want to take pcm stream in class 11 from cbse board. what is the pattern?what should i take as extra subject? what are the options in extra subject? & also what are main subject to be taken with pcm stream?
Hello Mr. Anonymous. After 10th standard, you can opt for Science stream and Commerce stream. In science stream you have various options - pure science group, computer science group, bio-math group are standard streams offered in most of the schools. Certain schools offer exceptional subjects. Leaving the exceptions and coming back to your question - you want to take Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics right? You have two options, either you can take computer science group or biological group, both have p-c-m subjects. Cs group has additional computer science as one of the subject whereas bio group has biology as additional subject. Finally, whatever group you take in CBSE, English is mandatory [ MAIN SUBJECT ] as the fifth subject. I would suggest you ask your school faculties and seniors about this, they will be in a better position to help you. Hope I have answered your question.
In 2019 I gave 12th from cbse board and got failed in physics but they didnt gave compartment and for improving my marks I gave improvement for all my 6 subject in 2020 but when result came the showed phy in additional sub. and this will not be accepted in medical College..what to do next
Hi there,
Firstly if you failed in the subject you should have given the compartment exam, now since it is not in the main subject in your scorecard, hence there is nothing much you can do, because this is not under the eligibility criteria, so you need to look for some other courses.
I hope this help
will cbse board marks play any role in mbbs admission at all?
Audrey, NEET is the entrance examination for admission to MBBS,BDS, Ayush and Veterinary courses across India. And to be eligible for NEET, you should have completed your 12th, passed in all subjects and secure a minimum aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. It is 50% for General Category, 45% for PWD and 40% for OBC,SC,ST. Now if you belong to OBC Category, the Category you belong to should be also listed in the Central OBC list. Or else you will be considered as General Category and so you have to secure a minimum aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. This 50% is inclusive of the Theory and Practical marks scored in Physics, Chemistry and Biology collectively. You needn't score 50% in Physics, 50% in Chemistry and 50% in Biology separately. You need an aggregate of 50% or 40% depending on your Category as an aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. And along with Physics, Chemistry and Biology, you should also have studied English as one of the core subjects in your 12th. This is where the importance of your Board exams in NEET end. To appear for NEET, you need to secure the minimum aggregate in your 12th. And NEET is the only entrance examination for admission to MBBS both in India and abroad as well. Now even if you have to study MBBS abroad, NEET is mandatory. So to qualify for NEET, it is important for you to score 40-50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology in your 12th depending on your Category. But for admission to MBBS, it is your NEET score, Rank in the merit list, cut offs and your Category that matter. Your 12th marks dont count there.
my daughter scored 66 in maths,95 in physics,95 in chemistry and 87 in biology in CBSE board, whether she is able to get admission for Bsc zoology in stella marys
Dear aspirant,
Every year, during the month of April-July period, candidates are admitted to the Intermediate/ Under Graduate/Post Graduate programmes. The admission process is simple and transparent.
I think your daughter has a chance to get admission in this college but to be on a safer side, you can also apply in some other good colleges.
Eligibility:
• Under-graduate: Intermediate, 10+2 or any other equivalent course.
• Applications are issued in the college office as soon as the results of the qualifying examination are announced. Application forms can also be downloaded from the college website. Downloaded forms filled and sent by post must have attached a Demand Draft(D.D) for Rs.200/- for Intermediate and Rs.300/- for Degree in favour of the Principal, Maris Stella College, Vijayawada.
• The filled application form together with necessary enclosures(clear and complete instructions are given in the form) must reach the college office within fifteen days of announcement of results.
• If the application is found to be satisfactory, the applicant will be contacted within a few days to attend an interview accompanied by a parent.
• If selected, admission is confirmed on payment of full admission fee.
• Admission to the PG programmes is made on the basis of the Common Entrance Examination(KRUCET/ICET) conducted by the affiliated University.
The candidate must have acquired a minimum aggregate of 50% in the qualifying examination.
Thanks!!
mera CBSE board me class 12th me 2 subject mai cross lag gaya hai to mai improvement exam de sakta hu next year only 2 subject me exam dena chatha hu
Yes, if you could not qualify two subjects in CBSE 12th board exams, then you can appear for improvement exams as a private candidate. However, if you want to take admission into some college this year itself and if it requires 12th board marks, then you also have an option to qualify the failed subjects this year itself. You can do so by registering for NIOS on demand examinations.
After registration, you will get an option to select the date and center as per the availability and your choice. You may appear for them and qualify the failed subjects.
Hope it helps.
I am a ex regular student of cbse board. I cleared my paper as a private candidate. can I get admission in government engineering college?
Hello aspirant
For admission to Government Engineering college, you must appear for entrance exam for the course. There are two ways , one is through Jee main and other CET.
Other necessary requirement is you should have scored Minimum 50% marks in PCM (50% for general Category and 45% for SC/ St category)
If you have cleared your STD xii privately . Then you must be having two mark sheets. You don't have to worry , you should present your both mark sheets . You are ex student do you will have to submit your gap Certificate also. If you are fit in requirements then you can get a seat .
