Hi,
Last year cutoff for MSc geophysics in BHU PET was around 170. This year you can expect more or less similar one. The cut off marks depend on so many factors such as number of candidate appeared, difficulty of exam, number of seat available etc. So don't lose hope, you have other options if you loose this one. All the best

In gate exam can we write only geophysics ?is there any chance without including geology
Hello,
Both Geology and Geophysics are included in a single paper. It is divided into two sections
- Geology
- Geophysics
You cannot have a choice of leaving Geology and appear in Geophysics alone. You may personally choose not to attempt question on Geology but it is not advised to do so.
