I got 1754 rank in stream 1 whether i get good course in sastra
Hi Ravinder,
I am very sorry to say that you won't be able to get a seat in Sastra University for a core subject as the seats fill up below 1000 ranks in the main campus.
You may get seats in non-core branches in Sastra University.
If you are looking for only good courses then You should look for other colleges.

I got 9.94 in inter and 91 in jee can I got seat in sastra CSE
Hello karanamkalki
First of all there is no specific cut-off marks for getting admission in sastra university. Your 12th marks and jee marks will decide your seat in sastra university. The merit is made based on 25% weightage of JEEmarks And 75% of your class 12th marks. So as you have calculated then your marks are good and their are some chances that you get stream 1 in good branches.

I got 9. 19 in +2 examination and 38% in mains can I get admission in sastra University?!
Hi Jayanti,
I am very sorry to say that you have a low chance to get a seat in Sastra University with these marks. You may try with stream 2.
The admission is based on two ways:
Stream 1: JEE main marks + board exam marks (70% seats)
Stream 2: only board exam marks (30% seats)
There is no specific cut off to get a seat in SASTRA University. It depends on the student who scores the highest marks. If you have appeared for JEE Mains then apply under stream 1. If your board exam marks are 90-95% and JEE main marks are between 50-120 then you can get admission under stream 1.
For stream 2, your board exam marks should be at least above 85-90% to get a seat and if it is more than 95% you can get a good course.
Hope it was useful to you and your query was resolved.

Hello,
"Yes" you will get '
Sastra Deemed University will offer admission in 2019 under the following two streams:
Through stream 1:
Admissions to 70% of the seats will be made through stream 1 on the basis of JEE Main scores and normalized scores of the 10+2 or equivalent exam.
The 25% weightage will be given to JEE Main scores and the remaining 75% will be given to marks scored in 10+2 or equivalent examination.
The combined scores will be used to prepare the rank list and candidates will be invited for admission on the basis of the rank list.
Through stream 2:
The remaining 30% of the seats will be filled through stream 2
Only 10+2 (or equivalent) normalized scores will be considered while preparing the rank list of stream 2.
Candidates can apply through both the streams. In case, a candidate has not appeared for JEE Main 2019 exam and has applied for stream 1, the weighted score for the 25% will be considered 0 but the qualifying exam aggregate scores will be given 75% weightage to arrive at the combined score. However, in case of stream 2, the qualifying exam scores will be given 100% weightage.
Thank you.
I got 88 percentile in open category , mains can I get seat in sastra?
Hey Jitendra!
Admissions in Sastra occurs in two streams. Stream one admissions for 70% of the seats are according to the rank list prepared by the college which depends on the JEE Mains score+ 12th class merit. Stream 2 admissions for 30% seats are totally based on the class 12 merit. 75% weightage is given to class 12 and 25% to JEE mains score. Then, they will combine both to prepare the merit list. Seat allotment depends on this rank list. You have a fair chance to get a seat there for sure, if you also have a good percentage in class 12. I hope this helps you. All the best!
How sastra consider 10/10 gpa for stream 2
Hello aspirant,
It would be more helpful to provide you with appropriate details if you have mentioned details more precisely such as your group etc.,.
All the very best!!
I have got 93.7 percentile in mains and 9.57 GPA in board can I get CSE branch in SASTRA
Hi Visweswara,
Admission process of sastra is as follows ;
Stream 1 Admission: Applicants under stream 1 will be admitted to 70% of the seats based on JEE (Main) 2018 scores and normalized +2 marks. The weightage for JEE Main scores and +2 marks will be 25% & 75% respectively. The aggregate JEE Main score and normalized +2 aggregate will be taken together as per the weightage and applicants will be ranked based on the resultant combined score.
For example: If a student secures a JEE Main Score of 185 and normalized +2 aggregate is 95%, the combined score of the student will be (0.25*185) + (0.75*95) = 117.5
The combined score of all students will be used to determine the SASTRA Rank and admission will be based on the SASTRA Rank secured.
Based on which you have good chance of making it to SASTRA
Im from andhra pradesh. I got 9.3 cgpa and 71 percentile in jee any chance of getting sastra University seat...waiting for your reply
Your jee mains percentile score is very low and hence it is very difficult for you to get admission in this University.Try for other private colleges.
Good luck.
