Detailed Syllabus Understanding
2.
Solve a variety of difficulties
3.
Conduct regular mock tests
4.
Solve previous years' question paper
5.

Does college may provide placement or not??
Hi archana.
It depends upon college as like many private colleges said that they provide the placements but they don't while some of the good and reputed private universities provide it while government universities have high placement rate.
Thanks

I got 66 percentile in jee mains sc category, am I eligible for getting admission in cse branch?
Hii gunjan
As according to this year cutoff and previous year analysis it is tough ti get admission in nits or government colleges. But you can try in lower cutoff colleges and private college in any branch.

I got 66 percentile in jee mains sc category, am I eligible for getting admission in cse branch?
With a 66 percentile in JEE Main under SC category , your chances of getting Computer Science Engineering (CSE) depend on several factors:
1. NITs/IIITs/GFTIs
For top institutes like NITs, IIITs, or GFTIs:
-
66 percentile (SC category) typically corresponds to a rank between 60,000–80,000 in the SC category.
-
CSE in top NITs (like NIT Trichy, Surathkal, Warangal) usually closes around 1,000–4,000 SC rank .
-
Lower-tier NITs (like NIT Mizoram, NIT Sikkim, etc.) might accept higher SC ranks, but still, CSE is tough due to demand.
So, it's unlikely to get CSE in NITs/IIITs at this percentile.
2. State Government Colleges (via JEE Main)
Some state engineering colleges accept JEE Main scores with relaxed cutoffs for SC candidates. You might stand a chance for CSE or other branches in:
-
North Eastern states
-
Some newer government colleges
-
Certain home-state quotas (if you belong to that state)
3. Private Colleges
Many private engineering colleges accept JEE Main scores and offer CSE admission even at lower percentiles:
-
Examples: Parul University, Galgotias, LPU, SRM, etc.
-
Many offer direct admission or through counseling.
What You Can Do:
-
Check JoSAA and CSAB previous year cutoffs for SC category.
-
Explore state-level counseling portals (like MPDTE, HSTES, BCECE, etc.).
-
Consider private universities with good placements.
I got 66 percentile in jee mains sc category, am I eligible for getting admission in cse branch?
Hello,
With a 66 percentile in JEE Mains in the SC category, it may be challenging to secure a seat in the Computer Science Engineering (CSE) branch in top NITs or IITs, as they usually have higher cutoffs.
However, you may have a better chance in lower-ranked NITs, IIITs, or state engineering colleges.
Hope it helps !
