sir i dropped engineering after completing 1st sem can i rewrite kcet ande get admission in govt engineering college?
Hello there,
Yes, you can rewrite the KCET (Karnataka Common Entrance Test) even after dropping out of engineering after completing the 1st semester. However, there are a few key points to consider:
-
Eligibility: To appear for KCET again, you must meet the standard eligibility criteria, including passing your Class 12 (PUC) with required marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Your previous engineering admission or dropout status does not affect KCET eligibility.
-
Seat Allocation: If you secure a rank in KCET again, you can participate in the counseling process. You will be treated as a fresh candidate, and your previous admission will not have any impact.
-
Document Verification: During the counseling process, you will need to submit all required documents, including Class 12 marksheets. Your previous engineering enrollment is usually not considered in this process.
- Government College Admission: Getting into a government engineering college depends on your rank and the availability of seats in the desired branch and college. Ensure you aim for a high rank for better chances.
If you are confident in preparing and improving your performance, rewriting KCET is a valid option.

Is it worth it to join college after 3 year gap I was doing ca but now I understand its not my cup of tea now my dad is saying join bca college and I am afraid to get job becauss of 3 year gap
Hello Faisal,
Yes, joining college after a 3-year gap is worth it if you have clarity about your new career path. Many people switch fields or resume studies after realizing their initial choice wasn’t right for them. Here’s why it can still work out:
1) Relevance of BCA: A BCA (Bachelor of Computer Applications) degree has good job prospects, especially in the IT sector, which values skills over age or gaps. Focus on developing programming, data analysis, and software development skills during your course.
2) Addressing the Gap:
a) During interviews, explain that your gap was spent exploring CA and that you shifted focus after realizing it wasn’t your passion.
b) Emphasize your decision-making ability and commitment to your new field.
3) Skill Development: Use your college years to gain internships, certifications (e.g., Python, Java, Data Science), and projects to build a strong portfolio, making your gap less significant.
4) Job Opportunities: The IT industry values skills and hands-on experience over continuous education. If you excel in BCA and develop in-demand technical expertise, the gap won’t hinder your chances of securing a good job.
Key Tips:
- Take online courses to bridge your skill gap while studying.
- Focus on networking and gaining relevant internships during your degree.
- Be confident about your decision and convey it positively to potential employers.
Your determination and effort will matter more than the gap in the long run.

The downloading pdf are not opening
Hello,
If your downloaded PDFs still won't open, there could be a few common problems affecting you. First, make sure you have installed a reader that supports PDF files and is compatible with it, such as Adobe Acrobat Reader or your system's built-in PDF viewer. Check that the file is not corrupted by redownloading from the original source. This can also occur if the download failed, and the file is incomplete, so it cannot open.
Ensure the file is not stored in the forbidden folder for mobile users. Clear cache or storage if your PDF app on your device has a problem. Lastly, ensure that the device supports the version of your PDF you are trying to access. In case none of that works, update or reinstall your PDF reader application.
Two numbers are respectively 20 percent and 50 percent more than a third number the ratio of two no
Hello,
Let the third number be x.
- The first number is 20% more than the third number, so it is x+0.2x=1.2x.
- The second number is 50% more than the third number, so it is x+0.5x=1.5x.
The ratio of the two numbers is:
1.2x/1.5x = 12/15 = 4/5
Final Answer:
The ratio of the two numbers is 4:5 .

Mne 11th class Pcm se pass ki h or 12th class Pcm with biology adisnol 60% se pass ki h to kya m Bams k liye eligible hu?
Hello Rajan,
Yes, you are eligible for BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) if you passed 12th with PCM and Biology as an additional subject. The eligibility criteria for BAMS generally include:
-
Educational Qualification: You must have passed 12th with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as compulsory subjects. Since you have Biology as an additional subject, you fulfill this criterion.
-
Minimum Marks: Most institutions require at least 50% aggregate marks in PCB for general category students (relaxation applies for reserved categories). Check your aggregate PCB marks for confirmation.
- Entrance Exam: You need to qualify for the NEET UG exam to gain admission to a BAMS program. Admission is based on your NEET score and rank.
Ensure that your PCB combination meets the aggregate marks required for the course.
