Hello Sandeep,
If you're unable to access your NPTEL examination marks due to issues with your email or date of birth, here’s what you can do:
Recover Account:
a) Visit the NPTEL portal and try the "Forgot Password" option using your registered email.
b) If your email shows as invalid, double-check if there are any errors in typing or if you used a different email during registration.
Contact NPTEL Support:
a) use the NPTEL Helpdesk available on their website.
b) Provide details such as your name, registered email ID, course name, hall ticket number, and other relevant details. Mention the issue with the date of birth discrepancy.
Submit Proofs:
a) If your hall ticket had incorrect information, explain this to NPTEL and provide any alternate proofs like acknowledgment mail from NPTEL, screenshots, or other documents showing your course registration.
Reach Out via Phone:
a) NPTEL usually has regional coordinators. Look up contact details for your state's SPOC (Single Point of Contact) from the NPTEL website and explain your issue.
Retrieve Hall Ticket Copy:
a) If you don’t have a hall ticket copy, check your email inbox (including spam/junk) for past communication from NPTEL. It may have your application or hall ticket information.
Resolving such issues can take time, but providing clear details and following up regularly will help you get a response.

My son is in class 12 ..in class 12. pCM..wanted to take a break and appear for bitsat
Dear aspirant !
Hope you are doing well ! If he is confident and sure that after taking a break he can crack the entrance exam of bitsat then let him give the exam and give him a chance . Drop year has been proved beneficial for many students in the past . Taking a year drop doesn't mean it's the end of the road for you. It only means that you have taken an extra year to give a better chance to your career . Don't listen to people who tell you that dropping your year means you are risking your career.
Hope it helps you !
Thank you
