I am Sukumar Mondal Asking regarding PHD Admission, 9007182147

kumardurgesh1802 25th Nov, 2024

Hello there,

For pursuing a Ph.D., the basic eligibility includes having a master’s degree in a relevant field with at least 55% marks (50% for reserved categories). Candidates must also qualify for entrance exams such as UGC-NET, CSIR-NET, GATE, or institute-specific tests. In addition to academic qualifications, some institutions may prefer candidates with prior research or professional experience.

The admission process typically involves filling out an application, appearing for an entrance test, and undergoing an interview. In some cases, you may need to submit a research proposal. Applications usually open twice a year, for sessions in January and July. Deadlines vary depending on the institution, so it’s important to check specific university notifications.

Ph.D. fees differ based on the type of institution. Public universities like IITs or central universities charge around Rs. 20,000 to Rs. 50,000 annually, whereas private institutions may charge Rs. 1–2 lakh per year. Many candidates can avail fellowships like JRF, GATE, or institute-level funding, providing a stipend during the research period.

Career opportunities after a Ph.D. include roles in academia, government research organizations, and industry-based R&D sectors. Let me know if you’re looking for details on a specific university or specialization!

Why are many questions from the ones which are not in exercises and (questions) and in the name of rationalising you are making it more harder as some questions come from the rationalised chapters

kumardurgesh1802 25th Nov, 2024

Hello there,

Your concern about questions appearing outside of exercises or being derived from rationalized chapters is valid. Here's why it might be happening:

  1. Increased Critical Thinking Focus : Modern exams often emphasize application-based questions to encourage critical thinking rather than rote memorization. Questions may integrate concepts from chapters or topics not directly covered in the exercises.

  2. Rationalized Syllabus Confusion : Some portions of rationalized syllabi are still considered foundational, and questions may indirectly touch upon those concepts, creating an overlap.

  3. Broader Curriculum Interpretation : Even though certain topics are not explicitly in the exercises, their principles may be implicitly linked to other concepts, which examiners use for creating questions.

  4. Dynamic Question Patterns : Boards and educators sometimes adjust question patterns to align with updated educational objectives, which might make questions feel unfamiliar or challenging.

For better preparation, try to focus on understanding core concepts thoroughly and practicing diverse question types from multiple sources. This will help in tackling such unexpected questions effectively.

I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries then feel free to share your questions with us we will be happy to assist you.

Thank you and wishing you all the best for your bright future.

What percent I need in class10th

mjaisinghani62 25th Nov, 2024

Hello Kalyani

It depends upon which field you choose fir your further studies.

If you want to be an account expert or wish to be a Charted Accountant then you will have to choose commerce stream.

Now a days there is tough competition to get commerce seat in prestigious colleges .

For getting a prestigious commerce Institute you must score minimum 90 % in class X .

Then comes Arts field , after commerce there is high cut off for arts too. In a good college for getting arts seat you must need minimum 75% in class x.

There is low cut off for science stream after class x . It is easier to get science seat than commerce and arts .

Hence you need to score according to the Course.

Suppose, My 1st articleship commencement date is 31/Oct/2022 and Im in 3yr articleship scheme, Termination from 1st firm is 2/Apr/2024 and joining date of new firm is 8/Apr/2024. hence on 30/Apr/2025 My 2.5 years will not have been completed. Will my attempt shift from May-25 to Nov-25?

sadafreen356 25th Nov, 2024

according to the ICAI guidelines, it is mandatory to complete at least 2.5 years of articleship before you can attempt the CA Final exam; meaning you cannot sit for the CA Final exam unless you have finished your 2.5-year articleship period under a practicing Chartered Accountant

the last date for counting articleship towards appearing in the CA Final exam is the first day of the month of the exam you are aiming for, meaning, if you want to appear in the May CA Final exams, your articleship should be completed by the first of May.if you have completed 2.5 years on 1st may you are eligible for c.a final and you are completing it before the date so definitely you are eligible.

Good luck..
