I got 74.8 I need 1 more marks if I appear for 2 paper next year as private candidate will iit / nit accept my marksheet (both) it wont have practical marks written on it so will it create problems in counseling . please help please...

sadafreen356 1st Sep, 2024

You should definitely give the private exams, since iits and nit have 75%+ criteria and you just need some more improvement to get qualifying marks.

At the time of JOSAA counselling all document should be correct and must it fulfill the eligibility criteria.

Any discrepancy in marksheet, scorecards, certificates can lead to cancellation of your allocated seat!

do i have to appear for all subjects in improvement exam in 2025 my percentage is 74.8 i only need 1 mark . if i appear for 2 subject will my old marksheet be valid . if i score less than before what will happen?

sadafreen356 1st Sep, 2024

You can give improvement exams in subjects according to your choice but note that 75 percent in PCM is compulsory to get into BITS but this is not compulsory for admission in IIT. it will not only help you for admission in IIT or BITS but it lands you in a safe zone and if you are comfortable than give for all subjects.

can you suggest a list of non maths colleges in maharashtra

Abhishek 1st Sep, 2024

Hi there,

Hope you are doing fine.

If you are finding some colleges in Maharashtra that do not require a background in Mathematics for admission there are several options across various fields. Some of the colleges are St. Xavier's College in Mumbai and Fergusson College in Pune that offer a range of programs in the humanities, social sciences, and commerce where Mathematics is not a prerequisite.

Also, Mumbai University Department of Arts and Social Sciences and J. Somaiya College of Arts and Commerce  provides the courses that cater to students without a Mathematics background. Besides, many institutes in Maharashtra offer programs in fields like Fine Arts, Media Studies, and Hotel Management, which generally do not require Mathematics as a core subject.

Hope this resolves your query.

i have completed Bsc Critical Care Technology it is under Allied Health Science Course Im i eligible for Msc.Health informatics

Yuvan 1st Sep, 2024

Hi,

If you have completed a B.Sc. in Critical Care Technology, which falls under the Allied Health Science course, your eligibility for further studies or job roles would depend on the specific requirements of the programs or positions you are applying for.

Eligibility for Further Studies:

  1. Master's Programs: Many Master's programs in Allied Health Sciences, such as M.Sc. in Critical Care Technology, M.Sc. in Respiratory Therapy, or even MHA (Master of Hospital Administration), may be available to you. Eligibility usually requires a relevant undergraduate degree in a related field.

  2. Medical Courses (MBBS/MD): If you're considering entering into more traditional medical fields like MBBS or MD, your B.Sc. may not make you directly eligible. Entry into MBBS typically requires clearing entrance exams like NEET, and you may have to start from the undergraduate level.

  3. Paramedical Courses: You might also be eligible for various postgraduate diplomas or certifications in specialized paramedical fields, which can enhance your skills and job prospects.

Eligibility for Jobs:

  1. Hospital Roles: With a B.Sc. in Critical Care Technology, you may be eligible for roles such as Critical Care Technologist, ICU Technician, or other related positions in hospitals, particularly in critical care units.

  2. Government Jobs: If you're interested in government jobs, you would typically look for positions that specifically require a degree in Allied Health Sciences or related fields.

  3. Teaching Roles: With additional qualifications like a Master's or relevant certifications, you may also become eligible to teach in Allied Health Science programs.
