Find the sum of first 15 multiples of 8

Annu Kumari 22nd Nov, 2024

The first 15 multiples of 8 are 8,16,24,32,40,48,56,64,72,80,88,96,104,112,120.  As the difference between two consecutive multiple is 8, so they are forming a. Arithmetic progression.

Here a=8.

d= 8

Sum of first 15 multiples is given by Sn = n/2[ 2a +( n-1)d]

Putting value of a, d and n

Sn = 15/2[ 2×8+ (15-1)8]

Sn = 960

Find the sum of first 40 positive integer divisible by 6

Samprikta Mondal 22nd Nov, 2024

We can achieve this by using the formula for the sum of an arithmetic series:

Sn = n/2 * (2a + (n-1)d)

where

Sn = Sum of n terms

n = Number of terms =40

a = First term =6

d = Common difference =6

We substitute the values:

Sn = 40/2 * (2*6 + (40-1)6)

= 20 * (12+396)

= 20 * (12+234)

= 20 * 246

= 4920

Therefore, the sum of the first 40 positive integers that are divisible by 6 is 4920.

can i pursue polytechnic and ba at same time is valid for government exam or not

Samprikta Mondal 22nd Nov, 2024

Normally, it is not a good idea to enroll for a Polytechnic diploma and at the same time for a BA degree, and especially both of which entail regular classroom attendance.

Time Constraints: Both programs require significant time commitment, and balancing both might become challenging.
Academic Rigor: Both programs have their own academic demands
Government Exam Eligibility: While specific eligibility criteria vary from exam to exam and government body to government body, it generally allows for one degree or diploma to be pursued before the second. It can avoid complications in document verification and eligibility checks.
There might be exceptions, however

Distance Education or Online Courses: If you are planning for a BA through distance education or online mode, then it can be done parallel with the Polytechnic diploma but, only if you can utilize your time effectively .
Particular Government Examination Requirements: Depending on the specific government exam, the eligibility criteria may be modified to accept more than one degree or diploma. Read the eligibility criteria attached to a particular examination that you are aiming at.
Therefore, it is advisable to have a consultation with the Polytechnic and University's Academic Counsellor in terms of specific rules and regulations.
Examine the Notified Government Exam Eligibilities: Thoroughly read the eligibility criteria of those government exams that you want to clear.
Prioritize your goals: Assessing one's academic capabilities and managing their time so as to realize whether one can handle both concurrently.
Therefore, it's important to look into all these aspects carefully, then make an informed decision accordingly, based on your academic and career goals.

my name is boddapati santosh iam studying in palasa government college. my beach 2023.Supplmentry hall ticket number is missing plz tell me my hall ticket number

Samprikta Mondal 22nd Nov, 2024

For retrieval of the supplementary hall ticket number, I would propose to follow the following:

Contact Your College:

You call up the Palasa Government College Examination department

Explain your problem. Request them to help you recover your supplementary hall ticket number

They may still maintain records for that and make necessary arrangements to get you a duplicate copy

Check the University Website:

Visit your respective affiliated university website.

Look for the student portal or helpdesk if you want to ask them about the hall ticket number.

You may have to mention your registration number or some other particulars.

Contact the Exam Conducting Authority:

-In case you wish to ask your respective board or authority in which your exams were conducted, try contacting them.  They should have a helpline or some other online portal whereby you can ask for the availability of hall ticket numbers.

Do not forget to be patient and persistent. Taking some time to obtain your hall ticket number from the concerned quarters is not unusual.

I have passed my 10th in 2023, after that I got admisson in a cbse board school,and within 6 months I kept going to school then due to some financial issues , I cant able to pay my fees regularly so the school stopped my study , in 2024 I havent got admisson anywhere else, now I want to get admisson in kv , am I able ? In kv guide lines there is no break after 10th , any solution...... please reply

kumardurgesh1802 22nd Nov, 2024

Hello Suraj,

As per KV (Kendriya Vidyalaya) admission guidelines , a break in studies is generally not permitted after passing the 10th grade. However, there may be exceptions based on valid reasons such as financial difficulties, supported by proper documentation.

Possible Solution:

  1. Contact the School Principal/Regional Office : Explain your situation with genuine reasons and supporting documents like:

    • 10th-grade passing certificate.
    • Documents proving financial hardship (e.g., income certificate).
    • A written explanation stating your inability to attend school in 2024.

  2. Apply Under Special Provisions : KV sometimes considers admissions under special cases, including hardship or transfer situations. Check if you qualify under any such category.

  3. Seek Guidance from Local Authorities : The District Education Office or KV regional office can guide you about exceptions or alternate options.

Ensure you approach the process early, as KV admissions for the next academic session might have specific deadlines.

I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries then feel free to share your questions with us we will be happy to assist you.

Thank you and wishing you all the best for your bright future.

I have passed my 10th in 2023 , after that in may I got admisson in a cbse board school, within 6 months I keep going to school but due to some financial problems I cant my fees regularly so the school stopped me to coming school, in 2024 I havent got admisson anywhere else , am I able to get admisson in kv for 2025- 2026 session,

Samprikta Mondal 22nd Nov, 2024

As unfortunate as your condition may be, you do not qualify for direct admissions to KV Class 11 for the academic year 2025-2026.

Incomplete Academic Year: You did not complete the entire academic year in your previous school because of financial reasons. This aspect might hamper your eligibility for direct admissions.
Lack of Formal Education: An unattended year in school like 2024 may deprive you of the wherewithal to get eligible for the Class 11 seat.
But If you want to seek admission in Class 10 then your minimum age must be 14 and maximum age 16 on March 31 2025 and you must be a Indian National.
However, possible options include:

Equivalence Certificate: You would be able to obtain an equivalence certificate from your previous school or a recognized board to certify that you are of the relevant academic level.
Bridge Course or Remedial Classes: You can enroll for a bridge course or remedial classes to enhance your academic skills and make yourself ready for admission.
Alternative Schools: Find other schools close to your residence that have more lenient admission procedures or provide scholarships.
You should contact the specific KV you are interested in and clarify their admission procedures and any possible exceptions in your case.
