Depends! There are three broad sectors which differentiate:
- Category: generals get a hard time cracking any exam, SC STs get calls at even 70 percentiles and I with a 99.36 general didn’t get a call from any old IIMs
- Graduation: If you are an engineer you are screwed here as well. Non engineers get call for any percentile greater than 99, even at 98.5 with good acads.
- Gender: Males have a tough time here, I have known girls with calls at 95 percentile.
So if you are a case as I am, a general engineer male… well your chances for getting a call are slim.
