Do not look at other peoples struggles or success and get demotivated by it, rather try to learn something new from it. You should always remember your journey is different from others, your cousin may qualify NEET and your other friends may be successful. But that doesn't matter, you will be successful in your own way.
You are right, it is a new day of a new year. Take this as an opportunity to be thankful for what you have got. A good family, friends, food to eat, education, home, etc. Also take it as a chance to focus all your energy in working harder and achieving your goals.
Also make sure to surround your self with positive energy and people. Take care of your health and start new. Don't underestimate yourself and never give up. I am sure you will come out successful.
