Solution : According to the question,
A can do a certain work in 9 days.
B is 80% more efficient than A.
So, the ratio of efficiencies of A and B = 100 : 180 = 5 : 9
Total work = Time $\times$ Efficiency
⇒ Total work = 9 $\times$ 5 = 45 units
Consider the total efficiency of A and B = 5 + 9 = 14
Total work completed by A and B together = $\frac{45}{14}$ days.
Hence, the correct answer is $\frac{45}{14}$ Days.
