Correct Answer: 135
Solution :
$\frac{M1D1}{W1}$ = $\frac{M2D2}{W2}$ [where $M$ = number of men, $D$ = number of days, $W$ = work done]
⇒ $\frac{90×200}{0.5}$ = $\frac{M×400}{2.5}$
⇒ M = 90 × 2.5 = 225
So, the extra men to be employed = 225 – 90 = 135
Hence, the correct answer is 135.
